Pokemon, Multiversal Streamer Chapter 18 Alt POV

"Is this an invasion of Nargles?" A whisper rang out as Luna Lovegood beheld a small square panel in front of her face as she was sitting at her Ravenclaw table as the Sorting Ceremony was continuing.

Lying before her face obviously out of sight of everyone else as the glowing panel of light filled with a small message was unnoticed by all her fellow classmates who although infested with their own Nurgles and Humphries, should have been able to notice it.

But with pure curiosity, she decided to see what the advanced party of the Nurgle invasion wanted from her... Maybe they even wanted her to have her father publish their upcoming invasion in their newspaper!

[Luna Lovegood. Would you like to make more friends, see a beautiful adventure, and collect information on countless new magical creatures? Y/N]

The message was short but soooo intriguing to her especially as she was studying to become a magical zoologist herself.

But even as Dumbledore called out. "Now I am proud to declare that this year... Hogwarts will be hosting the Tri-Wizard Tournament!" Luna then pushed the Y which obviously meant yes to agreeing to join this venture.

Luna's eyes widened as she saw a projected... Moving picture? No maybe it was one of those muggle televisions she had heard Ginny muttering about her father playing with. But her eyes widened with glee at seeing a young man seemingly a year or two older than herself was. Patting the head of a blue seal like creature that had a more canine or even fox-like head.

Even as the system began quickly explaining its features... She absolutely ignored them as she lasered in on the talking button and she mentally typed out a message in the chat even as she blankly began eating the conjured food that a helpful House Elf put in front of her.

[Cryptid Lovegood- Hello! I have to ask what kind of magical creature that is? Is it a Crumple Horn Snorlack with its horns being the fins on its side? Is that how me and my father could never find one? Because they are in the water?]

She saw the young man still reading the message before shrugging and saying with one of those smiles that people typically had when they were trying to hard to find an answer for her. "Uhh, no Luna Lovegood right? No this is a Vaporean, and hello my name is Jake Bariss to the other ladies and gentlemen to the chat who are new here!"

Luna's head tilted to the side as she considered how this admittedly handsome young man knew her own name despite him not being a part of Hogwarts... But maybe they were just destined to be friends with how he clearly was well into the study of magical zoology.

And that was that... Luna nodded with that thought firmly cementing itself into her mind as she idly looked away from the so-called 'Live-Stream as she watched the ladies of Bauxbatons School of Magic coming to sit within the Ravenclaw table and she noticed Fleur Delacour who was being penetrated by the gaze of many of her fellow classmates.

'Hmm, she is probably infested with Wrackspurts... Best keep away from her.' Luna thought sagely before she shrugged and went back to typing in the chat to figure out who else was her new friend while she ate some delightful cake.

Sitting upon a throne of books that long read a dozen times at the very least,  was an effigy of beauty and power laid bored and in a deep doze. A weapon of god slaying might whose entire reason to exist was forgotten and replaced with the pursuit of knowledge after all but one of the gods of her world were slaughtered in the fires of war.

Jibril the last Flugel... Was beyond bored with her having read all of these books!

But as though answering her call for knowledge a ping rang out with her eyes snapping open and she took in the blue panel containing a message directed towards her.

[Jibril are you bored of this world's knowledge? Do you want to return to the old days of war on distant worlds untouched by Tet's mandate of games deciding everything? Do you want access to knowledge from countless worlds to eternally entertain you? Y/N]

Jibril for a split second almost pushed yes instinctively but her pride rose up and she smiled as she said with a cold giggle. "Hehe... Maybe it's just petty of me, but why don't you have a bet with me... I can sense the power within this construct, if you want to bind me in a contract no matter how it benefits me you have to defeat me first." 

The message construct crackled and then its message reformed. [Very well... The system acknowledges that Flugel Jibril is worthy of the system putting her in her place. Taking user Jibril into a pocket dimension.]

 And Jibrils vision went dark as she entered a pocket dimension and... She shivered with both excitement and fear as for the first time in millennia. She couldn't feel the One True God Tet's presence in this domain. 

Which meant that this being... No system was akin to or at the same level as Tet!

The system then sent a message to her as the form of a young man formed out of pure energy in front of her that coalesced into a young adult male. [I will be taking on the form of the holder of the system and using the power of his future potential. Are you ready Jibril?]

To which Jibril's large wings flapped out as she flew gently above the humanoid being whose pitiless eyes stared at her with zero emotion as was the norm with a non-sentient machine of a kind. "Of course... I do hope you don't bother holding back as I want to see how far I am from a true god such as yourself!"

The system tilted its head to the side and then she saw its hand snap its fingers towards her and then she held up her hands and her eyes widened as she saw her hands burst into dust along with the rest of her body falling suit.

[The power of a True God... Is that of Reality Manipulation, there is no fight to be had when the future of the host power is to simply deny the reality of your existence.] The system said with the words hitting her directly in the soul and Jibril... Both adored and hated that realization.

"How Childish..." Jibril muttered as the rest of her body broke down into dust no matter the power she marshaled to fight its swift destruction of her own body.

But after the decay reached her head and she was nothing but a floating head another message popped up in front of her eyes. [You have lost. Will you agree or lose the potential to see countless worlds?]

To which Jibril even as a floating head just chuckled and said with honest amusement. "Very well. Just to see your host and his potential, this agreement is well worth it.]

And even as her body instantly reformed and she was deposited back into her boring library her eyes widened and she began drooling as she saw the host... This Jake Bariss playing with a creature she had never slaughtered before!

It was beautiful! A whole new world with gods and powerful beings she could research and watch at her leisure with her even able to go there if she put a seal to her powers!

On the other side of things, Saegusa Mayumi looked upon the blue information screen with some annoyance as she realized that it wasn't a prank and after a moment she went to resolutely hit the N button without even reading the salesman pitch.

[At least read the pitch that an interdimensional system throws to you Saegusa Mayumi... It's not like it will cost you anything.]

Mayumi's face twitched before she looked back up to the top of the info panel with a frown and began reading its so-called sales pitch to join in on this interdimensional live stream of a sort.

[Saegusa Mayumi, you are an heiress to a noble clan but why remain just a heiress? With the system's help you can reach the level of magical power beyond the Yotsuba's within months let alone what you may accomplish in the future. But more importantly you will make friends and allies from other worlds who will not merely see you as the heiress of the Saegusa Family.]

And for a moment Mayumi hesitated as her hand immediately drifted over to the N button as she realized that if some force was capable of entering her mind and making her see such an illusion... It may be for the best that she just gives them their own illusion of her agreeing that way she could find out the source of this illusion.

So after taking a breath she looked around as the Student Council President of her school and realized that if this system wasn't lying... Maybe it could also help her push the students who couldn't match up to the clan born magicians to match them.

And with a solemn exhale Saegusa Mayumi changed her fate as she pushed the Y button in agreement to forming the contract with the system.
