Iβve had a few of you ask when the next part of the narrated audio story is coming (him and the tree), so I wanted to take a moment to explain where Iβm at with it.
When I first started that series, I was trying out a storytelling style with narration telling a story about what was happening. It was quicker to produce, and because it didnβt require heavy sound design or immersive pacing, I could make longer episodes more easily. So from a content standpoint, it made sense.
But when I listen back to those narrated episodes now, they feel rushed to me. A little detached. Like something is missing. The quality doesnβt match what I want to be creating anymore.
More and more people have been telling me they prefer the immersive audios... the ones where you feel like you're right there with him, like heβs speaking directly to you, not just telling a story about you. That kind of style takes longer to create, because Iβm building atmosphere, timing, tone, and sound details, but I feel like itβs so much more satisfying to listen to.
So, Iβve decided not to continue the narrated series, even though I know some of you were really curious to hear what happened next. I hope you understand that itβs not about abandoning a project... itβs about raising the standard of what I create. I want every audio to feel like an experience, not just a story.

Is the βBeneath the cloakβ audio meant to be the backstory to the βprofessor and the treeβ series? Or is there another audio somewhere that is the sequel to Beneath the cloak? And if not, do you think there will be a part 2? Sorry Iβm catching up and trying to piece together what audios might be connected to others, and which ones are just standalone π
