I enjoy small family Christmases with just my parents, but this year I was alone, and I'm totally happy with that too. I hope things are back to normal for you now. As it's the 28th I guess I can say congratulations on quitting your job! π₯³ I wish you a stress free new year!

2022-12-28 20:49:49 +0000 UTCSince I live in the US I have three holidays in quick succession (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year). November tends to bring the end of nice fall weather which means it's going to get cold and miserable for me. I end up longing for the holidays of yore when my family got together. The past few years my parents and I have done nothing due to the pandemic and then my grandfather died last year. When people ask if I'm ready for Christmas I say I'm ready for it to be over. I'm ready to not be hit in the face with posts and pics of people having huge celebrations or people making comments like, "You're not doing ANYTHING?!"
