The beauty of a manual lens are to shot with to believe. I started using a manual lens to slow me down a little bit and also be able to get a true film like feel. I also wanted to choose my focus in addition to my frame.
The 23mmf1.4 was the first lens i bought but on a crop sensor it almost replicated a phone camera frame. Also it lacked the distortion that I would like if i want to use a wide angle.
So i bought a tighter lens a 50f1.2 and these are from that lens. The best part is all these pictures have been shot at same settings of aperture and exposure, only changes i made were moving the focus area to various places and the frames lights up based on the amount of light present to match the exposure settings
