I discussed about my Analogue Heart in a Digital World. I mentioned how developing film rolls especially for nudes is turning out to be a challenge. So I took the next best option, a Manual Focus Lens on Digital Camera, that allowed me Film Style Simulations.
I spent a month shooting flowers, gardens, street, my dog, my car to get a hang of this. When you shoot at very open apertures lack of auto tracking focus will thrown your pictures out of focus at the slightest of movements. I normally dont shoot that open, but for this shoot i did,.
Above are pictures of this experiment, with a KodakPorta400 and LeicaM10 Simulation. Some shot in very high ISO of 12800. There were many misses almost all images are a bit out of focus, but i loved the mood, and am going to do more of this.
I have purposely kept the number of images high, in a sequence for you to see how I warm up my muses, myself and my camera for a shoot, light and vibe. It will also give you an idea of my shoot style to arrive organically at a posture i want for my frame.
There are many more from this experiment with one more muse as well. Later :)
Cheers
Ash
