Inference Inpainting Update
Added 2024-05-31 07:19:03 +0000 UTCInpainting is finally completed~ We're just getting some final bug fixes in for the next development release over the next few days.
Above is a video demo of inpainting in Inference with the upcoming clipping mask editor in Image to Image projects.
You can find the Clipping Mask - Edit button at the top right of the source image selector
The other Clipping Mask - Toggle Visibility can show or hide the mask overlay in the regular image view
Editor canvas supports colors and opacity for smooth inpainting, including pressure size control when using a pen stylus (i.e. Wacom tablet)
You can hold and drag with the middle mouse to pan the image, and scroll up and down to zoom
Brush strokes will save to the project as vector paths, and can be loaded from the project file or image at any time with full stroke undo history support
Since the image clipping mask feature can be enabled on any unloadable image, we're looking to support clipping masks for ControlNet images soon as well.
We're not currently sure if this method of having a dialog window opening from the Image to Image Project's image selector is more intuitive, or if we should have a separate Inpainting Project where the clipping mask canvas can be permanently open in a dock zone.
Feedback is welcome on which you think will be both more intuitive and easier to use! There should be a poll soon for this as well.
