March Newsletter

Hi everyone! I hope you're doing well. February was such a busy month for me, it absolutely flew by. The first couple of weeks were a bit rough. I started nannying my six month old niece and it was a difficult transition, but we seem to be getting the hang of things now!

It's finally starting to warm up here in Minnesota—and by warm up I mean it's been above 30 degrees the last few days. The sun has been shining and it feels so good even to just stand outside for a few minutes and feel the warmth on my face. Hopefully wherever you are it's getting warm again too!

I've included a few pictures in this month's newsletter, just to show you a little recap of what I've been up to. I'm so excited for March and am feeling pretty good about how the year is going so far.

I often feel like I don't get enough done each day. Like I have so many ideas and projects that I don't even know where to start. But then sometimes I wonder if I'm just being too hard on myself, because other people in my life tell me how impressed they are with how hard I work and how much I do. It's conflicting for me, because I know that if I push myself too hard that I'll end up feeling burnt out, but I also don't want to not push myself hard enough. It's a hard balance to strike. I also struggle with noticing when I'm feeling stressed until it's too late and it all catches up with me. Do you ever struggle with this?

In my last newsletter I mentioned that I would likely be working on a children's book soon, but I've decided to push that to later in the year instead and focus on a different project: The Self Love Journal.

My goal is for this journal to be full of guided writing prompts, exercises, and inspirational messages to help people grow their confidence and self-esteem. It will also pair very nicely with my Self Love Coloring Book that I came out with last year.

Another exciting thing that happened in February is that I finally started my second novel! Or at least what I think will be my second novel. I've only written one page so far, but I'm hoping to keep writing and get a large chunk of it written this month. Perhaps later in the month I'll give you a little preview of what it's going to be about... but for now it's top secret.

That's all for now! If you haven't already, try to set a goal or intention for the month of March. Even if it's just one word. I decided that my word for the month is "persistence". What will your word be?
