Maggie, I agree. Emma's not a devil but she's definitely not an angel or saint either. Emma's, ... , complicated. I see Emma as immature, well, teenagerish (a new word I invented). She has very deep feelings. Her base core is good. I do not think Emma would harm anyone directly, well, maybe Natalie the Bully (she needs a real spanking), but even Natalie is a complex character. Come to think of it, they all are. π€ We do not know their backstories. So, we really cannot judge, even though we all do, me especially. However, in our defense, we can only go on what is presented in the story. What you think Emma will say to Gabby when she finally uses her safeword, could very well be spot on. Remember what Patricia said while she was caning Gabby's feet, "You are stubborn". Yep, Gabby is. π and Emma may be the exact person to break it. ππ»

2024-11-24 18:22:56 +0000 UTCAmne, as for Emma's reasons, you have good reasons. I lean towards Emma wanting to have Gabby actually having dom experiences so she can 'teach' Emma. But, IMO, Emma will alwys control when and where Gabby will dom Emma. Emma has to be, needs to be, always in control. That's just how she built, it's her psyche. Does Emma have trust issues? π€ Oh yeah. Why? 1. Her mother's health. That probably scared the crap out of Emma, I bet she felt helpless for not being able to cure Patricia. Notice the panic when she checked on Patricia's cigars. 2. Emma's own previous failed relationships. Although she blamed the other girls,Emma was at fault. Remember Patricia said Emma was too impatient. Still, Emma was deeply emotionally hurt. This has also lead me to believe that Emma's love for Gabby is built on her trust in Gabby. The more Emma trusts, the more she loves.

Granted, given the last couple of chapters, it's a slim chance, but I can expect anything and the opposite of it from Emma. You can get more confidence, but not this way. Imo, by forcing her to do this, she'll only have a bad experience

Ok, I'll admit I searched for episodes where Billie Piper was nude. Call me a pervert. π Confidence. This is what Gabby is missing. Can Gabby gain immediate confidence to dominate? π€ Is this what Emma is pushing for? π€ Can someone just mentally flip a switch and change like that? π€ Actually, yes. I call it emotional decision making. You see it all the time in media. Someone just flips, usually due to a highly emotional or highly stressful situation. Think of a gentle kind mother. Watch her unchacteristically change into a raging beast when her child is threatened, and i mean killing mode level rage. Yes, I know it's not the same scenario here but that snap, that flip, has happened in real life. My question is why Emma is doing this? π€

Yeah, the collar is like a wedding ring. And it doesn't even have to be an actual dog collar, I've seen a lot of "collared" subs, where the "collar" looked almost like a necklace. It isn't for humiliation, at least during out of scene (which we don't have with this comic), rather a simbol of attachement to my partner (and in some cases, to hide the seam of a breast plate π€). Honestly, the whole comic feels like a constant bdsm scene, without a break. It might be because it's so slooow, but I feel like it's been ages, since we've seen Gabby and Emma out of bdsm gear, just in normal life. I would say "it's constantly firing on all cilinders all the time" but bc of the pace, I can't (no offence SimVenus).

You can see how Emma approaches it βRelax, it will be funβ it's fun for her which means she probably doesn't take it seriously, even if Gabby has some objections ! As for putting on the collar, I read it should be a whole ceremony of putting on the collar, that the collar is just like a wedding ring, which admittedly can be taken off, but it is a symbol of attachment as you write and not though I will put on your collar ! it sounds more just like fun the loser wears and the winner puts on the collar of the loser !
