Anne you wrote in your comment to page 16 you wrote that these acts of contract, remind you of Asimov's laws of robotics, maybe, but Asimov was not the first to formulate them he imo only modernized them, because the first was Karol (Charles) Čapek in his novel “R.U.R - Rossum's Universal Robots” in 1920 formulated the robot code (3 laws), which was used in the film “I, Robot ” with Will Smith but this is such a small digression. As for the name change, I'm curious how it will be if Emily / now as Jade will continue to work at school with Julia and when someone meets her what will she say “Good morning Emily” she in response “Jade my name is Jade”.? Of course, this refers to those are may have known Emily/Jade before but didn't know about the name change and/or weren't at the ceremony! Sometimes a name change is helpful even required in certain communities such as domme-sub relationships lovers or drag queens. Anne would you like to know that your favorite teacher is a pain-slut? Emily is no longer there, Jade has taken over her duties at school!

And a good looking one too, Anne. 😃 Gabby using a safe word. LMFAO 🤣 🤣 🤣 She's too 'in love' to do so. You're correct, Emma would gaslight and manipulate Gabby in order to override the safeword.

LesBeans, yes people change their names, because of marriages. But marriages, even ones involving a D/S dynamic, are sorta in between "equals". In a real D/S relationship, both the dom, and the sub have rights and obligations. The sub has to provide obedience and servitude to the dom, but the dom is also obligated to keep the sub safe, healthy, and the most important part, respect their option of using the safeword, should at any point the dynamic be too much at a point. Emma would just gaslight Gabby into never using the safeword, than to stop when Gabby wants her to. Yeah, I can see your point about a prenup, I know a couple of couples who have one, but even extreme ones don't include things, my partner for example can make me get tattoos, or breast implants. Just for the record, I'm a submissive leaning switch, but YES still I would absolutely leave a girlfriend, if she was so crazy, she would want me to take hormones, or get breast implants (I'm also a crossdresser). I can be in love, but still keep my sane logical thinking.

Yes Larry, thanks for seeing my point. It totally is what Patricia and Emma did to Elena and Gabby, and I didn't really like that either. I was just not that invested in the story at that time, to care. As I've seen and heard usually these types of ceremonies are really just a special kind of marriages, though in real life, the sub, though still getting collared for example (but the collar can simply look like a necklace in the daily life for stealthyness), but the sub doesn't "loose" anything. It’s only a more devoted marriage partner most of the time. Yes of course they take up their Masters name in case of a fem sub, don't really know about boy subs 🤔, but they don't give up their present or future assets. Yes, seems like bondage weddingns in this universe are really just slave initiation ceremonies. The "sub" is making themselves a real life slave. That's exactly what Gabby and Elena are. Slaves. They don't have a place to go, the Lindbergs throw them out, no money whatsoever. Hopefully, Gabby will open her mouth, like we've seen after her nightmare, and maybe, maybe Emma will listen (though we all know that's not a very likely outcome). Also Gabby's already bought up concerns about Emma's idea of getting her a tatto (slave branding in Emma's eyes), so there is still a chance.

Yeah Anne, I agree. However, part of this is what Patricia and Emma did to Elena and Gabby. They stripped both of everything, and made Gabby and her mom totally dependent on them. That's not far off from what is happening here; the dom owns everything, the slave, or the 'servant', has nothing. The only difference seems to be 'private' or 'public', which is a crock. Does private mean no other mistress can command the servant, whereas the slave, the public side, can be commanded by any other mistress? Doesn't this seem contradicting the previous articles of the contract? I'm confused. The name change is, interesting. So Emily takes on Julia's last name, which I can see because this is a 'bondage marriage' so to speak, but, Emily has to take on a different first name? Hold on a minute, Emily, wait Jade, totally loses her identity, her past, her finances, and to be honest, her freedom. Emily is stripped of everything, whereas Julia loses nothing, she just takes everything, now and in the future? Is this what is supposed to be a bondage wedding in this universe? Is this the new type of feministic modern slavery? Note also the first line is from Gabby's mind: she would rewrite the Enhancement part of the contract. Even Gabby knows it is messed up and wrong. But, will she say anything? Nope. Will Emma push Gabby for this type of contract. Most probably. Will Patricia push Elena towards this type of contract? Most probably also, but with the 'servant', or 'private', aspect, not the 'slave' side.

People change names all the time and most people only know her as Ms Jenson. And that’s kinda the point this is an extreme commitment. Akin to marriage. Imagine getting married, signing an iron clad prenup, and such. Besides if you love someone genuinely you’d never leave them

LesBeans

Transferring all current and future funds and assets? Legal name change? This is a bit much for me... how exactly can they "hide" their "bondage relationship", if Emily is now renamed Jade? This doesn't really make sense...
