My Classmate Emma Lindberg - Chapter 40, Page 24

I agree with Maggie and Larry and of course with Anna that since this nightmare of Gabby is over, is Emma ready to give herself a chance to learn something! Gabby started to say that she wants Emma to protect her from Natalie, but Emma can't protect herself from her inferiority complex (about her looks, being the best mistress, etc) . I've suspected before that Emma is taking a pattern from Patricia, but since Patricia may have β€œresentments” after working with Kimberly, I guess they're not the best role models. One thing that makes them certain is if Emma wants publicity then why doesn't she volunteer herself to Ms Out as Kimberly's new submissive, only it will probably be Kimberly then who doesn't want publicity. Emma should learn to respect the boundaries of her β€œgirlfriend” Gabby, because for now she is a girlfriend in name only and if she wants privacy then Emma should respect that or at least talk to her about it.

Bernhard, I love the plot twist. Great idea!

Thanks! I've corrected it

Maggie, good point. Emma does need to take lessons on love. IMO it needs to be something significant, like Gabby breaking up with her, canceling the contract, and vacating the premises even though she has nowhere else to go. I would like Gabby to choose homelessness as opposed to being with emma. Emma needs that slap in the face to force her to face her own inadequacies about her role in their relationship. However, I don't believe Emma's ego will allow that. I believe Emma was trained by watching Patricia deal with relationships, and, we all know Patricia's, um, coping mechanisms are, um, broken.

Larry_W

Anne, you are right on with Patricia. If memory serves me correctly Patricia told Gabby to come up with a list of things she needs to do for Emma. WTF? So, Gabby's, or any subs/slaves, needs and wants are secondary to the mistresses. This is one of the reasons I'm negatively biased towards Patricia. Never thought about Gabby not being able to talk during the interview. I think the people interviewing them would want to hear Gabby's perspective. If Emma balks at that then her image could suffer badly.

FINALLY... that nightmare was really long one... but as Anne pointed out comparing to "Inception" movie... in sleep time slows down... :) I want to point at something else... everybody in comments are nagging how Gabby needs to learn and that she must to learn to speak up for herself etc. I want to point out something else as well... that Gabby is not the only character in this story who needs to learn something... Emma needs to learn a lot too... a lot of you are saying that she's too stubborn to learn anything... I say I'll give her a chance too... :) How to be a better girlfriend for Gabby her love...

hehehe, maybe Gaby is now dreaming after she passed out from the iron branding, and her mind makes her dream she is back in Emma's rooms and bed? :D

Yeah Larry as usual you're right about it. While Gabby would like to keep the bdsm stuff behind closed doors (my opinion too, unless there's a fetish event), Emma yearns for attention. This might just be a eye opener for Gabby, though I doubt it. About Patricia, true she's also against publicity, but she's also the one who told Gabby to trust blindly in Emma ( it would be interesting to hear her opinion about what Emma did while at Kimberly's dungeon, the real stuff, not the dream of course) Do you think Gabby could talk during the interview? My guess is, she would be at least gagged, if not latex hooded the whole time. She's just a slave after all, not a person. Yeah, SimVenus has written every Mistress to be narcissistic and egoists, who only care for their own pleasure. It will be interesting to see what Gabby's reaction will be when she sees Natalie, after the nightmare, she might just run away. Yeah, true. Love is not about total blind obedience, it's about mutual trust, respect and care. I don't think Emma could provide that. As much as it will hurt Gabby, yes maybe a scenario in reality, that she had in the nightmare, would open her eyes. Probably, hopefully...

Furex, it wasn't just me, basically everyone (at least the usual commenters) have agreed pages ago, that this was a dream. But thanks anyway...

Hi Anne! First off I agree with everyone, I'm glad this is a dream! Possibly, just possibly, there will still be a confrontation between Emma and Gabby. There could be two possible reasons: First off, it could stem from Anna's comment about not having Gabby do 'crazy stuff'. (why else would this be brought up on this page) From what I gathered, the crazy stuff would be the interview with Ms Out Magazine. That is exactly what Gabby wants! She screams and begs for it! (sorry sarcasm again). This is totally what Gabby is against. Remember, Gabby pulled away from Emma at the beginning of the story because they were going to run into someone she knew. Emma found out then that Gabby did not like being in public while in bondage. Also, remember a picture that was leaked to the press when Gabby was photographed in bondage while wearing latex in public. Patricia had to call in her pet pony (lawyer) and her pet dog (ADA) to get the picture taken down. Gabby does not want publicity. Emma craves it. Emma yearns for it. Her ego demands it. So, guess who will win? However, remember that Patricia hates publicity also; she wants her secrets. If the interview happens, Gabby could let something slip about Patricia and The Basement. Not only can I see a confrontation between Emma and Gabby, but one between Emma and her mother. Secondly, I'm of the belief that Emma will take Gabby to the face f'n contest instead of the lecture by Gabby's favorite authoress. Why, Emma's ego. This will have to slam home to Gabby that Emma will always put herself first, and she herself will just be an afterthought. Actually all of the mistresses seem to be a bit narcissitic and put themselves first. Ok, maybe a third reason, Natalie attends the ceremony but gets to talk to Gabby privately. If not Natalie, then someone needs to explain to Gabby that love is not obtained by being totally obedient and submissive. Love is not conditional, which is Emma's belief/problem. Emma's love IS conditional and based on pure obedience and submissiveness of her 'girlfriend'. Conditional love is just pure BS. Love is about trust, respect, looking out for the other person, listening to the person, etc, etc. Fill in the blanks people. Gabby never has learned that lesson unfortunately, and to me it is THE most important lesson that she needs to learn. The problem is, Gabby has blinded herself due to her unconditional 'love' for Emma. Gabby's eyes need to be opened by some act of forced brutality to wake her up to reality. It doesn't have to be physical brutality, but it could be emotional, mental, or psychological. Gabby will have to feel real pain and trauma in any of these areas. I mean real pain where Gabby actually feels the betrayal down to her core. It has to be so bad Gabby breaks down crying and sobbing. Unfortunately, Gabby has no physical, emotional, mental, or psychological support. She really has no one she can trust, not even her own mother. who in my opinion has now sided with Patricia. And please, don't get me started on Patricia. Hmmm..., maybe Gabby could read a book on relationships, narcissists, manipulation tactics, etc, all before the ceremony. Yeah, this chapter is essentially over.

Larry_W

Well done Anne, a dream ! You always said it and always kept it ! A real relief for all of us 😊😊😊 !

Furex

Ha! I never doubted that gabby was having a nightmare (yes you did, quit fibbing) want worried at all ( then why was you bringing your hand when you was reading) I'm sure gabby learned a lot about being more vocal ( so why is she being quiet) shet up conscious and crawl back under the rock under the broken bridge by the swamp ( you gotta go too I is in your mind after all) ok peeps guess I have to go. glad to see it was a happy ending ( no it wasn't it's just the end of this chapter)😏

Robmur

SimVenus, spelling fix: Ion stick should be iron stick. Um, come to think of it. Maybe iron stick should read branding iron. Great story BTW. 😊

Larry_W

Finally... the nightmare is over. But still seems like Gabby didn't learn a thing from it. Yes, she has doubts, but not speaking up on them. Of course, she didn't learn that communication is the key in any relationship, even more so in a bondage dynamic. Okay, I've given up on her, let her be a branded big titty slave, never an equal, nor a real submissive, which she'll eventually happen if she continues like this.

AnneCD88

Thank you our wonderful BDSM God that it was really just a Nightmare
