Emma saw Gabby wasn't 'preforming', that she was floundering. So Emma used a technique that would stimulate Gabby. I give credit to Emma for this; she spotted a problem and corrected it. What to conclude? Emma has Gabby 'trained', just like the dogs in Pavlov's experiments. Gabby cannot think on her feet, that's obvious. Gabby needs direction and instructions on every aspect of her life. Gabby doesn't want any control; she wants Emma to make all the decisions and has given all autonomy to Emma. I hold no hope out for Gabby. She is just a piece of meat for Emma to do with as she wants.
