Rats
End of chapter.
I was hoping Patricia would have talked to Gabby more.

Let's see, Patricia has said Emma is reckless, and she is. Patricia will monitor but not interfere because she will not be a mistress to Gabby. Uh, say what?
Patricia seems to now take on a hands off approach to Gabby. Excuse me, she is the head mistress of the dungeon. So ultimately anything that happens in the dungeon Patricia is accountable for.
Unfortunately, Gabby has accepted her isolation and entrapment due to her 'love' for Emma. I'm hoping Emma and Gabby break up, albeit temporarily. Gabby needs to wake up and realize Emma is immature and only thinks about herself (Patricia's words).
Emma has never said she loves Gabby. She only 'has feelings' for Gabby. Are those feelings love? Maybe, maybe not. Gabby loves Emma unconditionally, whereas Emma's love is conditional (IMO it's not love)
I see Emma abusing Gabby but Patricia, and Elena, will not save her. This is what Gabby chose.
However, the story is actually about Emma as told through Gabby's POV. IMO this is a story of Emma growing up and becoming a true girlfriend. This should be interesting. π

I've got to say, I'm concerned about where Gabby is heading. It feels like there's a lot of casual cruelty on Emma's part and I thought that Patricia would be the voice of reason. But instead, it feels like now she's going to enable it and making Gabby feel isolated, trapping her in an abusive relationship. I could be oversensitive and looking too much into it, so someone, please tell me if I'm overreacting.
