Emma gagged Gabby because she spoke out of turn, which irritated Emma.

I totally agree with you, Emma doesn't know how to handle a relationship and therefore treats Gabby as a slave.

Does Emma think? She's so certain that is what they are planning she is now planning physical violence against Natalie, with the full cheer squad to back her up. So, Emma wants to physically dominate Natalie by beating the crap out of her. Is that all Emma thinks of, physical domination.? IMO Emma has been gunning for Natalie the entire story but just 'needed' an excuse. On that note, maybe the bully is not Natalie, maybe the bully is Emma. Thoughts, conjectures?
Again, let's not think about consequences Emma. Let's not think that this could bring you before the authorities, like the police. Hey, maybe all the cheer squad can be put in jail. Maybe Emma, Gabby, Cami, and the cheer squad could be expelled from school. Maybe the cheer squad would be disbanded. Emma doesn't seem to care about school at all anyway. She's 18 and is perfect at everything, except thinking of the consequences of her actions.
I would laugh if this was actually the ploy of the others, to get Emma to physically fight Natalie so that Emma, and in particular Gabby, would come under a microscope. I'm hoping if the fight happens that Gabby calls Emma goddess. The gossip that would run through the school would be tremendous, and hilarious.
Maybe Gabby could step in and fight for her goddess. After all, isn't that what Emma wants, for Gabby to be so subservient that she would fight for Emma. That's what the catfighting scene was all about, right, making sure Gabby would fight for Emma.
Hopefully, if a fight does happen, someone doesn't bring a knife, or worse, a gun, which seems to be the norm today in the states. Better yet, make sure that the principal is there to see what Emma is doing. Alas, that will never happen, nor will we ever see Patricia step in to stop Emma.
And why gag Gabby? To prevent her from talking to Cami of course! My question is why.

I love Your story and the pratagonists with Your fantastic imagination and fantasy. I think Emma want Gabby as a friend but don't know how to handel it, so she makes her more a slave as a friend. I think her mother should investigate about that, that Emma learns a friend is not a slave.
