I think Lexy already knows that Gabby is too afraid that Emma is going to leave her. Lexy needs to talk some sense into Gabby. Maybe Gabby will listen, but, *sigh*, maybe not. Emma has reprimanded Gabby about not using her safeword several times. Patricia also told Gabby to set boundaries. Gabby's fear of losing Emma overrides all of the advice and reprimands Gabby has been given. Gabby doesn't, and will not, do either, and she should. Why would any mistress want such a person as a sub? An extreme sadistic narcissist would to be sure. I don't think that Emma is one. Maybe Emma needs to actually break up with Gabby to shatter Gabby's unrealistic attitude. Emma must realize that Gabby will never say no to anything that Emma says, except maybe torture, but Gabby would probably go along with that too. Emma may want a relationship, but with a person who will not stick up for herself? Gabby has no spine, no courage. How can Emma trust Gabby to stick up, i.e. fight, for Emma, or for the both of them? Gabby said she would but will she? The world is cruel and talking things out like Gabby wants sometimes works, but, unfortunately most times not. What made Gabby like this, actually, who would be a better word. I believe Elena, Gabby's mother, did. When Gabby's father died Elena went into over-protective mode. Elena sheltered Gabby, smothering her independence. Gabby only had a few friends, had to study all the time, and didn't really have normal teenage years. Gabby was told by her mother basically how to live, dress, what to go to, etc. I am not blaming Elena. This was a normal reaction to losing her husband. Elena loves Gabby and was just trying to protect her. Unfortunately, this is what causes Gabby to doubt herself, which is why Gabby has to check and recheck her school work all the time. This is the major difference between Emma and Gabby. Emma had to take control when her mother got sick so that is why Emma is so self assured and full of confidence. I know that Patricia said Gabby is good for Emma but Emma may not be good for Gabby. This is true. Emma forgets about Gabby's needs a lot. Lexy may be a better mistress for Gabby than Emma.
