However, there are some small things that bother me, and here I mean, the whipping of Gabi. The whip is an instrument of extreme torture, which is used for extreme acts and in the BDSM culture it is done with the prior consent of the "victim". Gabi is a tender, frail person, who would not have resisted such torture and probably, out of love for Emma, again, she would not have used the safe word. If Patricia had not intervened, an experienced dominatrix who knows the consequences of such a tool , the novel would have had an unpleasant twist for the followers. I read the comments of the followers of this novel and as Ben4321 says, Emma got away too easily, which is disappointing. Emma is a spoiled child who tries to achieve her goals, and not today or tomorrow...but now! There can be no love from Emma for Gabi with a whip between them. I hope that Patricia returns in the next chapters and straightens the situation with Emma by showing her that even a dominatrix can be punished for reckless actions.
