Thank You & Announcements
Added 2022-06-14 03:31:00 +0000 UTCI wish to thank all of you for your support and for all your comments and feedback. So far I haven't talked much about myself and my ideas for the novel, and I feel it's time I do that.
I became interested in 3D design last year in April. My initial project was a video game with the title "A Weekend with Evelyn Mickelberg". Development of the game was going fine in general, except for designing its art. I realized that I needed to focus on learning 3D design. With that in mind, my first idea was to turn the video game into a multiple-choice novel of the same title, so that I could focus on the art. Perhaps some of you have wondered who the girl in my avatar is. That's Evelyn :) You can read the first three chapters of that novel, which are available in the post "Download All the PDFs here".
Some weeks later, I decided it was a better idea to begin a new novel, and to come back later to the video game. So in September I wrote most of the text of "My Classmate Emma Lindberg", and in October I began designing the scenes and rendering them. When I began publishing them here and on DeviantArt in November, I had no idea what to expect, or if anybody would care about the novel. But I've received encouraging comments in general, and especially your support here in Patreon has been very important to me. I even found funny one the worst comments I've received: "This looks like some omegle screen shots. Distressing".
When I opened my site on Patreon, I set an initial goal related to purchasing new hardware. I didn't know if the goal was ever going to be achieved, but happily last month it was, and then I bought a new screen with higher resolution and a new computer with a better GPU (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060). I'm really grateful to all of you for making that possible! Now rendering time is not an issue and I can keep uploading new pages regularly.
The text of the novel describes the first week of the relationship between Emma and Gabby. I have ideas to write a few additional chapters, where the action takes place three months after the current events (in August, the current events happen in May). Those chapters would give the novel a more conclusive ending. Additionally, it would be possible to add some more chapters in between, especially about topics that have not been touched before. I will ask all of you for feedback about those topics, perhaps with a poll.
I hope this text has not been too long and boring. Thank you again!

Yes, it's very likely I'll extend the story with a new ending and additional chapters.

I hope the story does continue beyond the first week, and that we do get in-between chapters before the tale reaches its end. Hopefully, a happy conclusion!
