Some of these will be trial runs, but if they work well, I’ll continue them throughout the year. Let’s dive into the details!
Tier Updates for New Subscribers
Starting this year, we’re adding more value to each tier:
Silver Tier: Now includes 1 additional mini from last month’s releases. Previously, it only included the current month’s minis.
For example, this month, new subs to the Silver Tier will get:
Gold Tier & Above: Now includes 6 additional minis from last month’s releases! That’s on top of the current month’s minis. Previously, it only included the current month’s minis.
For example, this month, new subs to the Gold Tier will get:

C27 Vault Updates
The C27 Vault is growing this year! 🎉
12 minis from last year’s releases will be added to the Vault at the end of this month.
If you missed it, we added the community-made Metal Constructs in December.
Let’s Make Our Own Original Superhero Team!
This year, we’ll be creating our very own superhero team as a community! 🦸♂️🦸♀️
Here’s how it will work:
Two-month process per character. In the first month, we’ll brainstorm as a community and decide on powers, visuals, costumes, backstories, threat levels, and more. In the second month, we'll create it! We'll decide on poses and such and ask for feedback in our Discord server :)
Decisions will be made through votes, spin-the-wheel games, and other fun methods.
By the end of the year, we’ll have 5 or more unique characters to form a team you can use in your games!
I’m so excited about this and think it’ll be a fun, collaborative way to create something together!
Painting Competitions
I’m planning to run at least 1 painting competition every quarter this year. Stay tuned for updates on when the first one will kick off and what are the prizes!
Sending Printed Minis to the Community
I’ve tried this once last December, and it worked out great, so I’d like to continue sending some of our test-printed minis to the community! 🖨️✨
We’ll sponsor the shipping, but for now, it’s limited to UK-based members through Royal Mail.
If you’re interested in receiving free minis, comment below "I'd like free minis!" and I'll add you to this month's listing. The only requirement is that you live in the UK.
Every month, I’ll do a spin-the-wheel draw from those who signed up, and the winner will receive our free mini bundle! It'll consist of a select number of minis from our latest lineup, and maybe some older ones too!
Hopefully, as our community grows, I’ll be able to expand this to members outside the UK too. 😊

I will keep on advocating for one day to get Disney Villains C27 sculpts, it also stays in the family with SW and Marvel.

2025-01-05 19:07:33 +0000 UTCI'd like free minis (though my pile of unpainted ones object!) As for other IPs, Halo just got a new 40mm skirmish game and has plenty of characters to draw from across the games, so that could be cool. On the other hand, even though there's no attached game, I'd really love to see the Transformers line make a comeback. As for how to fit the new lines into the schedule, perhaps a Kickstarter/Frontier once or twice a year with a themed ready-to-go bundle of minis (to use my examples above, the squad of Spartans from Halo: Reach or the original series Autobots etc.)? That way, you don't need to turn one out every month and can work on it as a background project, and might get some new customers looking for a one-and-done purchase instead of Patreon subs?

Thanks for the great stuff every month and for sharing the ground effect video, I love his stuff! He's what's inspired me to want to try more statue style painting!

2025-01-05 07:39:37 +0000 UTCCool, but seriously, there are multiple entire lines of the stuff already out there done just as well... for both current game scales. Their Marvel stuff is better than most of the rest and been around longer, but their Star Wars was a pretty recent thing. Basically, they're just running down a done to death figure line if they continue with SW. Dropping those in favor of another series that has practically no love would be way more appreciated, at least in my opinion.

As somebody that fell in love with City of Heroes back in the day, and also played Champions, and DCUO I'd love to be able to work with somebody to see some of the amazing custom characters myself and others came up with in miniature form. I'll be curious to see how you implement the concept.

It's already done to death by several other creators... and it seemed like it popped on when the couple test Transformers popped off. You already do a decent job of catching weird characters, but yeah, some indy IP characters would be cool... MOTU stuff to replace terrible sculpts in the CMON game would be good. But really, going for the oddball saturday morning cartoons would be stellar - Bucky O'Hare, Darkwing Duck, Street Sharks would all be huuuuge for my old ass.

2025-01-05 04:07:03 +0000 UTCIP: I would like branching into other comic brands such as Image, DC, Dark Horse, Archie, etc. I'm not hot on the idea of another Anime line starting up, plenty of those already and they tend to take over. The 80's and 90's idea is good as long as they go with all the comic lines that are related to them. For instance Masters of the Universe, Thunder Cats, G.I.Joe, and Transformers are all comics now...
