It's also one of the highest gdp per cap in the world. But yeah very old school considering there law against same sex not changing until the 90s. Great place to go if you like driving fast cars though

2025-04-25 18:37:04 +0000 UTCMany UK sketch shows had the same format. If you were to watch a harry Enfield sketch show you'd find the same thing. Same characters each week in different situations. The comedy Eventually comes from familiarity. You see that character and begin to expect a certain thing from them. That's the point. That being said It was a bit hit and miss for me. Some stuff was just iconic and brilliant while other things were instantly forgettable. It was changed up from series to series. Oh and series 4 is technically a handful of specials they did after the shows main run.
