Red Dwarf S12 Ep6 "Skipper" REACTION!

This crew feels like family to me now. The journey has come to an end.

Red Dwarf S12 Ep6 "Skipper" REACTION!

Comments

Love Rimmer centric episodes, they’re always the best.

Delia P

The documentaries for each series are available on youtube, definitely worth watching you'll enjoy em.

Ash Allen

I never really got into The Brittas Empire which is show about a leasure centre manager that's played by Chris's Barrie, rimmer. It's a well liked show and although Chris plays different character than that of red dwarf the character he is still a complete smeg head. You should check out an episode to see what you think

Heard that's been shelved be ause of cost

Paul Liversage

Shows he doesn't read the comments...every episode someone has said he still has a special to watch

Paul Liversage

There is apparently a new 3-episode special in production that the moment. Will it be good? Who knows. Will we laugh? Quite likely.

InsanityMoose

Always a sad time when you have watched the last smegging episode, and there are no more. Luckily you can always watch them all again.

InsanityMoose

I get the family reference... I feel the same with Only Fools and Horses... I get so immersed that it's almost like I know the characters personally!

If you want to watch more Red Dwarf content after 'The Promised Land', every series has 'smeg ups', 'deleted scenes' and a featurette featuring interviews withe cast and crew and has interesting details about how the episode was made. There's also 'The First Three Million Years' documentary series. One special I would love you to see is 'Can't Smeg Won't Smeg', which is a cooking show presented by Ainsley Harriott and was featured on BBC2's 10th anniversary Red Dwarf night in 1998. The cast are all in character and hilarity ensues. If you decide to do a rewatch, is this something Queen Boomer might be interested in?

MarBL Wrexbro

Don't forget the special dude!

Matt Wells

There's one more, feature length special; called 'The Promised Land', which came out in 2020, that you haven't seen yet. Also there's a couple of cancelled episodes they remade as DVD special features, using storyboards and Chris Barrie narrating/providing character voices. Plus there's the Red Dwarf USA pilot that was made between series 5 & 6...it was unsurprisingly not successful

Chris Fone

Mr rat is so funny

Tim Salt (Tim Salt Writes)

I get that's been a long time, but it's not even 80 episodes. Pretty much every good American show has enough episodes per season to reach 100 easily within 5 season.

Joe Thornhill

Lol. How many times do we have to say and you have to check? Promise Land is next!

Joe Thornhill

Good ep / reaction. One of s12's best(?) 😂 28:55 Btw, one of the production companies here, 'Baby Cow', is Steve Coogan's.

Jason Scade

i watch the bloopers called smeg ups from each series it's brilliant

Silly Uncle Andy Farmer

Silly Uncle Andy Farmer

Jason Scade

I'd do a re-watch with you, heheh.

Wilss

Not sure if you got the "nobody is dead Arnold" joke, but it was a callback to the very first episode where Holly keeps telling Dave that everybody is dead.

Tom

Ya mate after the promised land , you definitely need to watch Red Dwarf: The First Three Million Years if you want nostalgia. 👌

Nothinghalo

No...there's still 'the promised land' 👍 and if you can find them you should watch the smeg ups and smeg outs, bloopers

Rob webber

The Rat is played by Danny John-Jules as well, not sure if you noticed.

QueenKennaofStormholt

Smeg Head. Still cracks me up. Craig Charles is dead good on 6music too, quite the DJ.👍🏻

Dan the man

Yes the promised land is the next series it consists of two long episodes

Mike Doel

The Rat makes me bust out laughing every time 🤣

QueenKennaofStormholt

There's still a 50/50 chance there'll be more episodes later in 2025 or into 2026 - They were greenlit but then cancelled, so you never know!

ryung246

Brilliant, one last hurrah!

Brian Moran

He even checked that several times before these last few episodes, too, what a muppet!

David Lyons

There is still another special called 'The Promised Land'!

Peter Tetley

The rat is honestly one of the freakiest things I have seen on TV, would be an amazing halloween costume
