Richard and Judy are married TV presenters and were on a breakfast show together. Richard infamously did an Ali G impression on TV which was a bit cringe. Bryn quotes an old McDonald's advert, where a fisherman asks for a "Fillet O'Fish, for my wife." Fathers for Justice were a group who dressed in comic con fancy dress and appeared at or on top of major buildings to protest about single fathers having access to their children. Noel from Hear'say (a band formed on reality TV) had a song Pure and Simple, which Nessa quotes.

And she wasn't that much older, series 3 of Benidorm was one year after this series of Gavin & Stacey! She was also dating James Corden at the time. You were right, you did see a little bit of Stacey's nipple there! She seemingly has no issue with nudity, as she's topless in the films Love Actually and From Hell as well.
