That was a running joke that each administration has done since the 70s whenever they leave office. After Brown's government, the right wing press weaponized the joke to portray Labour as irresponsible with money, even though the Tories have tripled the national debt over the last 14 years.

Holy shit, you're in a fucking opera house, lol.
What you've done there, Boomer is essentially opened more pipes on an already loud Organ. You need to put soft stuff in there to muffle or damp the sound and stop it moving around.
And, damn, that poster of you is bigger than I thought.

I did like Soap back in the day, as I did WKRP in Cincinnati but only due to one large fronted woman and I was in my horny teens! Not sure I’d get on with them these days! Thanks for your reaction! Good stuff 🙏

We should start a list of american comedies that made it over here, ill start. Taxi, golden girls, happy days, mork and mindy, cheers, everybody loves raymond, different strokes, mash, scrubs, soap, munsters, car 54 (i think) adams family, roseanne, king of queens, and loads more. By the way whatever became of roseanne? Ahem.

Your comment about the exiting political party was spot on.
A while back the treasurer of the labour party left a note to his incoming rival party saying "I'm afraid there is no money"

Friends, Frasier, Everybody loves Reymond, we pretty big in the early 2000's over here in the UK (mostly thanks the E4 & channel 4 buying a lot of good shows from the US!)

Friends is very popular over here, tbh i never understood why my whole family love friends, I couldn't ever get into it, my family also love modern family but again I couldn't get into it, I love the big bang theory tho and will and grace I used to watch before school I loved that, and also two and a half men was great from what I remember but I stopped watching after Charlie left

Friends is definitely big here, Matt LeBlanc actually took over Top Gear after the originals left, and he also starred in a brilliant sitcom called Episodes as himself, alongside Tamsin Grieg from Friday Night Dinner/Black Books, and Stephen Mangan. You should check it out!

The German thing is a reference to Armin Meiwes. The idea of a consensual act of cannibalism led to a lot of jokes about Germans wanting to eat people. You might remember the IT Crowd episode where Moss thinks he's gonna be taught how to cook by a German dude, and then finds out the guy thinks Moss agreed to be eaten. lol

Check out the new Frasier, Rodney from only fools and horses is Frasiers best friend in it. They met doing a play in the UK and Kersey Grammar wanted him (Nicholas Lyndhurst) playing his old friend from Oxford University as his best mate.

Yeh Frasier is popular, the writers were big fans of Only Fools and Horses. Frasier is classic farce done brilliantly. . imo obviously. Frasier has a touch of Captain Mainwaring from Dad's Army(Britain's most loved prior to OFAH) about him and the pomposity takes a knock and a ribbing and the physical comedy with Niles is straight out of classic boardwalk comedy, I rewatch every few years.

The German thing refers to the concentual cannibal case where Armin Meiwess met a man online and they arranged that Armin would kill and eat him . The other guy had a fantasy about being eaten. Same cannibal crime that that one IT crowd episode also refers to.

Friends was a pretty big show, here, yeah. Mostly with younger people.
Though it was never my type of comedy. I like my comedy a little more ballsy. More Inbetweeners than Only Fools. More 'Bottom' than Father Ted, etc.

I think that German thing is what Armie Hammer got ostracised for. So probably does happen.

Kudos for your upload schedule recently as there must still be a lot going on with the move, work and child, yet you've still managed to upload something most days!
Can't believe you're already onto the last 6/7 episodes of Fresh Meat, Blackadder and Spaced! Beware, the debate over what you should watch next is just round the corner...
They wouldn't be my personal top 2 choices but I'd say to maybe do GM Darkplace & Brasseye next considering they're both really popular & only have 6 episodes each - With that being said, I also wouldn't complain if you decide to go for one of the shows I'm always banging on about haha!
