2024-10-26 22:11:47 +0000 UTCI saw this in the cinema as a 12 year old, it's always been one I have a soft spot for. Flash Gordon was actually a 1930s cinema serial. Kids would get an episode at the Saturday Matinee, but it was regularly shown on British TV after the war and was much loved. That's why it was the British that made this tribute to it.
