As much as I like this series, it's scenes like the campfire bit that show how bad Paddy McGuinness's acting is! (He pretty much left acting behind after this and moved to presenting entertainment TV shows...including Top Gear!)

The mechanic is Noddy Holder, he used to be the singer in a band called Slade that were big in the 70s. They made one of the biggest Christmas songs that still gets played every year. They also had a big hit with 'come on feel the noise' that got covered by Quiet Riot.

Uk used to have Safeways, but it closed down many years ago, we have Asda (just like Walmarts), Sainsbury, Tesco, Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi just to name a few
