PADDINGTON (2014) MOVIE REACTION!

This reaction showing up in your feed may shock you since I never do reactions to family/kids films. However, you may be more shocked to find out what I thought of it!

DISCLAIMER: I do occasionally curse in this reaction so I highly recommend you do not watch this reaction with your little ones. It may expose them to disturbing levels of my muppetism.

PADDINGTON (2014) MOVIE REACTION!

Okay, then that came quick

good reaction Boomer, it's good to have some variety and you bring that to us, I haven't seen Paddington 2 yet but remember this being good, have placed it on the film suggestion chat, but Stardust is a good British 'feel good family film' which has a excellent cast and think was actually written by Jonathon Ross's wife! Keep up the great work

You're wrong.

Boomer, do you have any idea how much it would cost to replace all those computers in the guild? Of course it's set in modern times, not the '80's, Judy's been wearing Dr. Dre type headphones the entire movie. In fact, you know War Games? That war room is probably still accurate. Not only because of cost or "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", but it's harder to hack or tamper with BECAUSE the tech's so old. You can't exactly hack a floppy disc.

i watched this yesterday and today I got recommended your reaction to AL MURRAY "Nations of the World", and there was bit about how he didn't like Peru because of the way they treated bears followed by a rant summing up how Paddington got to London that neither you or QB understood. Now over 2 years later you do, even though you probably don't remember it 😂

That been confirmed? i LOVE The thick of it and would love to see this reaction.

Absolute nonsense. As someone who's lived in London most of my life, I've never faced any crime, and neither have any of my London friends or family. Even a quick Google pretty much suggests the same thing. For instance, a quick search revealed these:- - 'The latest ONS data shows that the rate of violence with injury per 1,000 population is lower in London (8.91) than the rest of England and Wales (9.48).' - 'When it comes to antisocial behaviour, the crime survey shows London has one of the lowest rates. In the year to September 2023, just 26.4% of people said they'd witnessed or experienced antisocial behaviour, compared with 34.2% across England and Wales. Only three police forces scored lower' As for it being "The most dangerous place in Europe..." 'They assign the UK an index figure of 42.72. For context on a European level, the lowest-ranked country - Estonia - has 20.80. While the 'most criminal' nation, Sweden, has an index figure of 49.35. Of the 188 countries assigned a ranking, Britain came 62nd.' It's obvious you're just playing up to common misconceptions thrown around Tiktok etc. because of your hate for Sadiq Khan. Which is pretty lame, considering you're actively trying to stop KB and QB from visiting such a lovely town because of your own political prejudice.

He wasn’t exaggerating about London, and that was 10 years ago😂. Went to London 2 month ago, had to borrow a car to go down there, (both my cars are stolen to order in London and would be on a ship out the country within 10 minutes of me getting out of them). I didn’t take a phone with me, didn’t have a watch on, couldn’t even wear a half decent shirt just to avoid bringing attention to myself. It’s just not worth it, even as someone who’s more than capable of defending myself, I would not go into London unless 100% necessary. It’s the most dangerous place in Europe as of right now and top 5 worldwide. I’m not getting political and I know you don’t like to, but if you come to the UK and London still has its current mayor and his party is in power in downing street, do NOT visit London.

I grew up with the books and the kids TV series back in the 70's and I think it still holds up as a good kids show. If you want the adult version of Paddington then you should watch the Channel 4 sit-com 'Home', it's full of heart and funny too...but no bears, sadly. I'm surprised this show hasn't been recommended!
