2024-10-10 20:56:39 +0000 UTCBit late to the party here, but I actually remember these protests because I worked in Westminster when they happened, and all the gossip in the office about what was going on and the helicopters around Millbank Tower while it was all kicking off. I can remember walking back to the Tube that evening behind a few stragglers carrying placards. I'm actually about to return to university (hopefully), which I was always reluctant to do specifically because of the hike in tuition fees, but it was pointed out to me that I will never, ever pay them off.

2024-07-16 19:21:30 +0000 UTCI personally don't agree with tuition fees, whether it's the England or the US. Education, along with all public services (particularly health as well) should free for all. It benefits all of society to have a healthy well educated country.

Has the nerve to get offended at Kingsley when she's been a) sleeping around like nobody's business, b) doing so behind her boyfriends' back, seemingly without any guilt and c) lying to Kingsley and the others herself that she split up with her bf. So really, what leg has she got to stand on?

2024-06-08 18:44:01 +0000 UTCJust to say that the student fees are repaid to the govt at a incredibly low tax %age rate. My daughter has about £40000 in fees but is paying back hardly anything per month, despite having a well paid job.
