Pkirby422

Admit it...... Who was singing along to the Spice girls during the baby reveal 😏

Malcom Kumar

When I was in my teens, I had an only fools and horses alarm clock, it was a diorama of the council estate, with the van in front, and when it went off, one of the flat lights came on and Del was shouting "Rodney wake up you dipstick!" I loved it!

ben smith

my favorite moment in all of the episodes was when Rodney done the fist into hand , man that is just perfect!

TheHigh

Also it can remain dormant for up to 30 or 40 years so some people might still be waiting to develop symptoms.

Martin Clarkson

So iconic this episode takes me back🧐

Lethal Atmos 3

why?

Sam Harvey

As much of a nonsense take as the spaces before the full stop from you, To Hull and Back was great for instance.

Robert Ryan

Never agree with this take.

Robert Ryan

Please stop clicking your fingers .. please

dave moorhouse

correct number of na na's, tick.

emu cat

the last time i watched this episode was with my gran before she passed about 11 years ago. always my fave for that. this one brought back some great memories so thank you boomer!

The Everything Guy

Did you spot that councillor Murray was in fact female Lister from red dwarf KB?

Kristopher Barton

Absolute classic. I remember watching this when it was broadcast with my entire family. The Batman and Robin sequence had us crying with laughter. Great reaction as always.

Duncan Hart

I must've watched this episode 1000 times, and only just noticed that in the opening scenes in the flat, Del is wearing a batman belt.

Adi Hughes

The Batman and Robin scene is the pinnacle of British comedy.

Squanchy

Next two episodes are absolute peak television

Joe

Same

BR90s

The actor playing the adult Damien was married to the actress who played Raquel, this is how they met on this episode playing mother and son, the actor playing the adult Damien also played Alfred Pennyworth in the Joker movie.

JokerDanny

Absolutely no spoilers but as someone else said, brace yourself for the next episode.

Josh

I don't know why this never occurred to me before but if Doctor Who wasn't canceled, adult Damien's actor would be The Master. Or at least, he could've been in the movie. He's even got the beard, so it wouldn't be far from his last incarnation. Oh, god, I forgot. Alberts corps being electrocuted still creeps me out. Especially in the close up. That's one horrible existence.

Joe Thornhill

The original Batman had eye brows on his costume

Mark Parker

I fondly remember watching this episode over Christmas 1996 when it first aired. I watched with my family and for hours after we would just look at each other and someone would go "da-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na" and we'd all collapse in fits of laughter! Such a great memory. 1996 was one of the best years of my life, and this trilogy capped it off beautifully.

Lee Gridley

It's a shame really; what came after are GOOD episodes....the problem is that, well, they came after.

ALW

Something is up with the video. Can’t pause, ff or rewind. Also can’t remove the subtitles

Dan M

That’s where it did end. The others were a bonus that don’t really count.

John

Spent the day at the football and then the pub. This is the best thing ever to come home to after a few beers!

David Ridley

Aye, still the official last few episodes as far as I’m concerned. What came after are a bonus that don’t really count.

John

Re: the British beef joke. In the nineties there was a national crisis in the beef farming industry - with a fatal brain disease (with symptoms not unlike rabies) linked to the consumption of beef. It became infamously known as "mad cow disease". 150 people died, and 4million cows were culled.

Ben

Because of this episode and the conversation in the cafe, the Ship of Theseus paradox is now sometimes known in Britain as Trigger's Broom. Seeing the old Littlewoods and Sport & Ski shop signs again is such a nostalgia trip too.

Charlie

The scene when Rodney and Del boy were chasing the muggers was shot in bedminster Bristol, south west England, I was living there at the time, I was at work but my mum and dad who owned a newsagents in that area got to meet the cast and had a chat with David Jason!!

Matt Wells

I much, much prefer the final 3 episodes to this trilogy. I find the next two episodes far too depressing.

UltiNega

Triggers broom 😂

Richard Stanley

KB, these 3 specials (this and 'Modern Men' , 'Time On Our Hands' ) were shown in short succession over the Christmas 1996 Holidays and were billed as the last ever episodes and were truly a national event over here. I think it was the BBC who pressured the writer John Sullivan to come up with some more episodes that were shown a few years later. P.S. Brace yourself for 'Modern Men'

Fordy7169

I really enjoyed Rock n Chips.

1234

After all these years and watching this episode many times, I only picked up on that while watching this reaction.

Gary Searle

Modern Men first!

Daniel French

Should check out Rock n chips after these, It's a prequal to only fools, del is a teenager. Del is played by James buckley from the inbetweeners and Nicholas Lyndhurst who plays Rodney plays freddie the frog

Dave Bond

Great episode & reaction, can't wait for time on our hands

Tony Bremner

The other 3, unfortunately. And agreed, Jay. The ending to this trilogy rivals Blackadder's in terms of quality, but they had to ruin it.

Joshua

Did you catch the president's name in Rooney's nightmare? Del and Raquel called him "President Reeves" and Damian called him "Keanu"...

Manly Stump

Definitely. This trilogy would have been the perfect final send off for Only Fools, but they just had to push it a little too far unfortunately.

Jay

Such a mid 90s feel to this episode at the end, them singing footballs coming home, the spice girls in the background. Nostalgic for me

Jehan Ariyaratnam

Yeah I can see it now. I'll watch that one first. 😂😂

Andy Waller

The final 3 true only fools and horses episodes ,the other 2 are shite nonsense .

Phoenix

Quality telly

ezza

Simply amazing! Onto the final 5

AWR93

One of the most iconic episodes. This trilogy is magic.

Joshua

Absolutely love this now del.. lets go!! 😅

Tim Salt (Tim Salt Writes)

In the UK some folk might refer to the concept of the ship of Thesius as Trigger's broom!

Geraint Harrison

It’s not working

Shaun Lavin

War with China in 2 years 👀

Jon

24.35 million people in the UK watched the Time on Our Hands special that's coming up here soon, which wasn't far off being half of the population at the time... That's absolutely bonkers!... That's where it should have ended for me but that's another story.

BigChanChan

This trilogy of specials is so good. They're hilarious and touching, and they show John Sullivan's writing at its very best. I remember watching these with my family over Christmas 1996 - it was such an event! Over twenty million people tuned in to each episode, which is crazy to think about now. Barring news or sporting events, there's never really been anything like it since.

Henry Graham

Brian your such a goofy tit - your lucky I like you haha ... Love this episode

Craig McCulloch

I’m in Portugal until Monday and the signal is quite bad here But I can’t wait to see this reaction when I am back home

Andrew Bojas

Not missed Andy KB did it, was great!

Adam Lovatt

Andy Waller

Oh yes, great episode. Was just looking for something to watch, this is the best outcome ever haha

Nothinghalo

been waiting for this one 🦇

Ketzalborne

Chris Blackman
