Season 1-2 Lister was 25. At beginning of Season 7, Lister just had his 28th birthday. So 3 Million years from episode 1 to episode 2 of series 1. 200 years from the end of series 5 to the beginning of series 6 when they awoke from hyper sleep. Then from series 1 to series 7, Lister has aged 3 years. So 3,000,203 years since the first episode until the beginning of series 7.

Lister) complained to the writers that he wanted some romantic plot-lines too. They decided to maliciously comply, which is why he has so many disgusting interactions in the following series!

But the episode Future Echoes made no sense in the first series, because why would you accelerate to light speed to turn around? Time dialation at light speed or close to it would cause the rest of the universe to pass more time than the object itself, so that would've added an unknown number of years anyway. But yeah let's just go with the original 3 million years :)
