But the main thing is I stepped out of my comfort zone with this reaction. It proved to be more interesting than most films in this genre, at least for me! ENJOY!

I love Cillian’s transition at the end on the movie. For me, his rage at the murderous, rapist soldiers, is what saves them all.

2025-03-02 22:34:16 +0000 UTCMost zombie films forces the characters to be stupid and make dumb decisions because if everyone used common sense then it would be a boring zombie survival film if nobody dies. The transition with Jim didn't happen overnight, by the point he killed that child 3 days had already passed and he had time to come to terms with how to adapt to survival. Usually zombie films keep people dumb and incompetent trying to make moral choices in an immoral world. I agree that Jim who was a bike courier suddenly became rambo in first blood was a bit silly going against trained soldiers who had been active since the start of the outbreak.
