Weekly update - October 31, 2025 - A Rather Soggy Halloween!

Hello, delightful human pals!

I hope you are having a Halloween! It has been a very rainy week here in Montreal, and it is an especially rainy Halloween morning! I hope it clears up in a bit so the kiddos do not end up in uncomfortably damp costumes!

I don't have a ton to report this week. The writing for the next chapter of Play Things is going well - surprisingly well, actually. I haven't been writing super fast, but I have been writing consistently. Assuming I can keep this up next week, I should finish the primary pass on the next chapter by then. I hesitate to set a release date so early, but I'm aiming for mid-November.

I have been testing out a new organization method for the last little while, and I keep expecting it to explode on me.

So far it hasn't! I approve of this. I enjoy not being exploded.

I also enjoy not stewing in an endless cauldron of guilt and anxiety because I know I should be Doing Things, but I keep Not Doing Things for reasons that baffle and annoy me. The cauldron is a bad place to hang out! I don't recommend it! I am giving it a very poor Yelp review!

I seem to have found my way out, but we'll see how well that lasts. A lot of things work for one week and then fall apart. If this method keeps working until I release the next chapter, I'll explain how I'm doing it!
