Weekly update - October 3, 2025 - If you keep doing that you'll go blind

Hey Peeps!

This update is uh... wow, it's Friday! Did that whole week go really fast for anyone else!

I did still want to get this update out at some point, so I'm doing it now!

I am still working on the Play Things update. As usual, it has ended up much bigger than I thought. I expected the two paths for this route would take a lot of additional work because of how different they would have to be, and it was correct! We're at about 38k words now, and I expect to add another two or three thousand to that as I go through and edit.

It may surprise you, because I write a lot of words, but I tend to underwrite as a rule. During edits I typically add stuff.

I haven't written as many words as I would like lately largely because I have been distracted by staring into the Torment Nexus.

I don't recommend staring into the Torment Nexus too much, but you have to do it at least a little because otherwise you don't know what the next Torments are going to be!

You gotta stay up to date on the Torments!

Also, uh... just gonna say - if any of you dolls out there are on spiro, please make sure you're getting adequate hydration. I was not, and paid for that pretty hard this week! Lost a couple of days to some Very Unfun Bathroom Times.

I'm OK now, but wow! Not fun! Don't recommend it!

Drink your water and your electrolytes! That goes for everyone, but doubly so if you are on medication that makes you pee all the time!

Changing direction - my current goal for Play Things is to get the update out by next Wednesday, both because it is really late and because I have something I want to do during the following week.

There is a series of game jams called SCREAM JAM, which happens every October, and this year I plan to participate. The game I am planning on making is titled "I AM GOING TO STAB YOU: Being Trans in 2025". It will not, alas, be smut. Based on the title, you can guess that it is not a happy game at all!

I don't feel good about making it, but I also feel like I have to!

I've never done a game in this short a period of time before - the jam is only a week long - so I could use some help!

If you are trans, or know a trans person who does music or sound design - hit me up on Discord! I can make most of this game myself, but I am not well-versed in sound design and cannot make music at all. I could use some Royalty Free music, but I would much prefer to work with someone.
