Dictation and a Delay

Unfortunately, I have to delay the update! I underestimated how long it would take to revise this chapter.
I've been attempting to integrate dictation into my writing process. Up until now, I could never really get it to work. It's not that I couldn't get the technology to do its thing - it's more that it takes some time to get used to speaking a story rather than typing it.
It's an attractive idea, though, mainly because I do not have great circulation in my legs, and sitting at a computer for a long time isn't super healthy for me.
Writing while walking around or lying down is really cool, and this month, I finally got enough practice to feel comfortable writing this month's chapter using dictation, which I did! If you're a writer and you've ever been interested in trying dictation, I highly recommend giving it a go. It's neat! It takes some time to get used to, too, but it is very cool, and modern dictation software is really good!
The problem is, I've never worked with dictation of this length before (the chapter is ~30k words or about 5 hours of audio), so running the transcription software and then editing out the transcription errors has been taking WAY more time than I expected. It's still considerably less time than typing the whole thing out, but it's much slower going than I had scheduled.
So, unfortunately, I have to delay the next update by two days, from Friday, April 5th, to Sunday, April 7th!
