KB - the blond woman called April at the dinner party in this Peep Show episode was the same blonde lady who was in the IT Crowd dinner party last episode who played Jessica, who kept doing quotation marks in the air with her fingers, she shagged Richmond. And funnily enough with the Paddiington reference made in this episode, the actress (Catherine Shepherd) was in both Paddington movies too!

As a fellow American who loves UK comedy, one I think would be great for you to watch is The Royle Family. It's such a brilliant, subtly hilarious show...not as much large or broad comedy but so amazing.

Nighty night took me a couple of rewatches to fully appreciate, i never seen a show like it at the time and although it’s entertaining i didn’t know if i should be laughing at times because it’s just so dark and insane. It’s great though as well as the follow up shows Camping and Sally4ever. Julia Davis is brilliant

If you want to see a show starring the actor that plays Moss and the actor that plays their new Boss but which is totally different you should watch Gareth Marenghi's Dark Places: it's a sci-fi fantasy spoof from the nineties and its where they first started.
