When Albert mentions Malcolm Sargent, about that time I was receiving aid from the cancer charity set up in his memory. Not altogether relevant, but it sticks in my mind. - Anyway, the 'new' Rodney, yeah! I think Del got a bit flanderised as the show went on, portrayed more as a wally who couldn't pick up social and other cues, rather than the streetwise slick fron the earlier seasons. They needed someone to pull him up on his increasing gaffes, so enter Rodney! I think this also coincides with the time when Rodney's head became shaped more like a rectangle and less like a Google Maps location pin. 😂
