A couple examples to show this is the tabloid newspaper at the end saying "Werewolves ate my platoon", and then there is the Matrix reference I think you missed with Sarge saying "There is no Spoon" when they find what is left of him in the kitchen.

Even since I was a young kid I have had some sort of fascination with swords that I think was inspired by the He-man movie and the movie, Highlander with Lambert. I suppose I'm all set up if there's an invasion of werewolves coming to attack us. Lol.

And i had a training exercise literally a week after in wales and the trees in the forest we worked in were exactly the same as the ones in this film when they were retreating during the first attack, it really put the shits up me, but year 20 years man thats fucking scary
