The IT Crowd "The Haunting of Bill Crouse" REACTION!

A fight breaks out between KB and QB!

The IT Crowd "The Haunting of Bill Crouse" REACTION!

Comments

I walked out of a date cos he was rude to the staff. Immediate major red flag.

Spoingus

It's pronounced as "tah-path". No-one can pronounce it correctly at all.

Grady Parsons

Can I add, the actor playing the guy who pretended to have slept with Jen, is called Adam Buxton. He has guest appearances on the UKs '8 out of 10 cats' comedy show that are on youtube - I think you will find them very, very funny. Check out his clip 'Adam Buxton reads YouTube comments', it is gold!

Jason Scade

Fab ep and reaction. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I'm really looking forward to you starting The Day Today (and it's sequel series, Brass Eye). Both written and starring Christopher Morris (the Renholm Denholm actor) and he's heavily featured in every episode. They are two of the most scathingly funny and clever comedy satire shows ever made. β™₯

Jason Scade

He's missed multiple punchlines and ends of sentences by doing this. Sometimes he even says what the person actually says at the end of the sentence and thinks it should've been said in the script. When it was already but he paused too early and missed it. It's funny to witness. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Andy Waller

Queen called it because she was paying attention to the title, so it was obvious before the episode started that he was going to think he was being haunted. Come on King, pay more attention to what you're reacting to. πŸ™„πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Andy Waller

the british equivalent to wanting a conversation to end sooner, is slapping your knees as you stand and saying 'right' lol

Ashley Norton

Three teas when you wake up is perfectly normal!

Matt Rumsey

It's pronounced Dennum Rennum

Neal Murdoch

lol i think the space bar issue was a blessing, to fix that Itch.

Industrialist2015ofUk

Should have known you were a Half-Life fan, you've clearly modeled your look after Gordon! Fun fact, the IT Crowd DVD includes "geek" subtitles, and when Jen got into the lift in episode one, the subtitles said "Welcome to the Black Mesa transit system" as a reference to HL1.

Manly Stump

Lmao all episode yall were flirting so I laughed when the tension finally broke.

Adam

Probably my fave episode. The whole Elton John thing always cracks me up. That song is amazing. 'And we're all the same height when we're lying down.' Genius.

Dean Carter

Thou shalt not bear false witness...

Shoomer1988

Jen's dead 🀣🀣

Tim Salt (Tim Salt Writes)

To be honest, it depends... My son has always been easy but the hardest years for my daughter hit us when she became a teenager... She was an absolute nightmare from about 13 to about 21 years of age!

BigChanChan

I knew you'd both love this show and I know you'd also love Black Books, which is co-written by Graham Linehan, the writer of this show and Father Ted... Black Books is up there with these two shows in my opinion or very close to them and is a little quirkier in style... It also has a young actor in it who you'll recognise straight away!

BigChanChan

I wonder, did you recognise Adam (Bill) from anywhere else? The last scene you saw him in before this show will definitely be permanently etched on your memory even if you don't remember his face...

Z is for Zed

It's 100% what they meant, American outlets haven't got on/off switches or any mechanism to cover the holes like UK sockets, so it's possible to get an electric shock playing with an American outlet.

Mark Jones

I don't think he was talking about 'electrical' outlets

Aaron

You definitely missed at least 1 good joke from a pause where you didn't go back to an earlier point. You should always go back to an earlier point if you pause. And you still got the name wrong, it is Denholm Reynholm, sounds like Denim, as in jeans, or maybe Venom, they work at Renholm Industries.

Aaron

dude, you pause way too much 🀣 youl miss the punch line. not that i care too muchπŸ€ͺ

Industrialist2015ofUk

yes! please look out for the end credits scenes they're great! also, loved this episode and you're only one away from series 2 which you two are going to have a blast with lmao

basedpilled

Also his podcast is great, especially the Christmas edition with Joe Cornish.

Jay

I've seen it and loved it 🀣 Joe and Louis are on Adams podcast all the time talking about how they went to school together and made lots of silly videos together

Mark Jones

I don't think 'thou shalt not lie' is a commandment, i think you might mean 'thou shalt not bare false witness'.

Gary Mcatear

we all know whos outlet boomers been licking

tricky D77

A one year old can move across a room by itself: trust me it's all down hill from here.

R Lawrence

Jane definitely won the fight.

Geraint Harrison

This show picks up from this episode, next one is another favourite of mine. Also warning for King: On the next episode, make sure you watch the credits and the after credit scene like this one. In general should wait until you see the Talkback Thames ending screen shows.

Matt

Thou shall not covet thy neighbour ass, which is a big problem for me especially since the restraining order.

Jason Bonner

After the next episode you'll have to do a Youtube reaction to the Season 1 DVD extras. The 'host' is Adam Buxton (Bill Kraus in this episode) and it's hilarious https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3f52N7TzI4

Steve King

This show is one of the best shows ever but series 2 gets a lot funnier

ConnorPlaysHD

There’s also an amazing video from the 90s of him, Joe and Louis Theroux dancing to Groove is in the Heart at university and it’s brilliantly silly and 90s wacky

Sam Dilks

You must be getting tired of hearing about this on British comedies, but yeah although the first season is good, it gets funnier in season 2!

AdamMcAdamface

As others have said, it gets better

Westley Johnstone

Den ham, Ren ald

Chay Davenport

Queeny got it right! Take the olm out.

Chay Davenport

Watching Jane and queeny play at the end was beautiful.

Chay Davenport

It's Denholm Reynholm and is pronounced exactly as Queen Boomer did. As in "Denum Renum" rather than "Den-home Ren-home. The business is called Reynholm Industries after his surname.

Steve King

And he was the reporter who got the lump of stone dropped on his head in Hot Fuzz of course!

Mark Jones

Other than The Work Outing this is possibly my favourite episode of IT Crowd, a lot more good ones to come though. Katherine Parkinson is great in this ep!

Brodie Vickers

Bill is played by Adam Buxton who's known for the cult comedy classic 'The Adam and Joe Show' from the late 90's which was awesome, he's also a regular in dictionary corner on '8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown' which you know because of Sean Locke, Jimmy Carr etc, Adam also does an excellent podcast with his dog Rosie, check out his YouTube channel!

Mark Jones

It's denholm reynholm but pronounce it like this. Den-im, ren-im.

Tim Phillipson

REN holm den holm. πŸ˜‚ nope, queen got it right. Renal denim

Chay Davenport

The D comes first, Denholm Reynholm. But QB says it correctly, 'Denam Renam' :)

Anthony Mark Taylor

the ending is a parody of invasion of the bodysnatchers ending

trickster

Jen appearing as a "ghost" at Bill's window and demanding to be let in is inspired by Wuthering Heights, if anyone has read that or seen a film version.

Beccy

Holy moly he thinks 1-2 years is the easiest time, wait until they’re 3 and start walking and get a voice. I baby sat my nephews and nieces they’re chaos jus like I was. Ask your parents is it easy. They’re easy when they leave home. The 1-3 stage is the easiest part.

Chay Davenport

This will sound weird but quite a few American reactors have reacted to videos about British outlets, they have a safety mechanism so you can't get shocked by licking them.

Mark Jones

Nice hair QB πŸ˜…. Tea is my favourite too, unlike super hans πŸ˜‚

Erica

Have you tried turning it off then on again?

Chay Davenport

For context, during the date when she points out the waiter looks like Mick Hucknall (he's the singer from the band Simply Red). Hence the rude comment, 'Hey Hucknall, when you're Simply Red-y'. I'm not sure if Simply Red are well known in America?

Wayne Atkinson

Yay πŸ₯³

Chay Davenport

HAHA i was so happy to see this ep =) great one
