I think after Geoffrey Hutchings died it kind of threw the writers off and they basically had to scramble and come up with something which is why there wasn’t that many laughs in it, I do agree with you though it wasn’t particularly that funny

My town is about an hour outside the city, but I’m currently in the bus station at Benidorm 😂 I think that although this series generally isn’t quite as funny, there are occasional classic and hilarious moments to take you by surprise! 😂

2023-11-18 11:54:41 +0000 UTCI think the reason this series isn't as good is because of the death of Geoffrey Hutchings (Mel) likely threw off the writing, there was probably storylines already written that had Mel in that had to be rewritten.

Also The Royle Family is considered one of the best British sitcoms You and Queen Boomer should definitely react to them at some point.
