Only Fools and Horses S5 Ep5 "Video Nasty" REACTION!!!

Uh oh.

Only Fools and Horses S5 Ep5 "Video Nasty" REACTION!!!

Comments

Always thought the vicar sounded like an Irish guy who’d lived in England long enough to slightly lose the accent

Mark Rudd

The Vicar is also the Auction owner with the broken Lawnmower Engines ☺

Chris Blackman

Actually, Chicken Run from 2000 is a good Claymation film like Wallis and Gromit. I feel like it's usually shown around Christmas time and the sequel is coming out too. I'm not even subscribed to the movie tier, I'm just throwing it out there.

Joe Thornhill

I'm not sure why but 'About Time' popped in my head when you said "heartwarming stories". Stars Domhnall Gleeson, Rachel McAdams, Margot Robbie and Bill Nighy. Or 'Love Actually', since it's nearing Christmas, if you haven't seen it already.

Joe Thornhill

Absolutely love your reactions KB, you and QB are such fun to watch along with. Will there be more Only Fools & Horses to come? You’re only about halfway through now and the show gets even better as the seasons go on, so I hope you’ll be doing lots more Only Fools reactions soon! 👍

CraigRed

As someone who has probably watched every OFAH episode at least 15 times, it's really interesting how even on your first watch you really 'get it' and also your rating of each episode is really on point with the general consensus of fans like me.

Ryan Clarke

This episode is quite weak imo, as are the next 2. From the Frogs Legacy onwards it just gets better and better!

Michael May

Ìif you're after a young Michael Caine film, you can't go wrong with The Italian Job.

Neal Murdoch

@dale m - So you want KB to repeat The Inbetweeners and OFAH indefinitely, and sod what the rest of the community and KB want? What other shows do you like? Genuinely asking.

Phil Robinson

My brother used to hang around with Patrick Murray (Micky Pearces) son

SEAN

The first two episodes are on here at least, more would be good though :)

LyingSecret

Extras is a fantastic show to react to!

Jurgen Fellows

Im not one sided. I dont like plebs, man down, or father ted either but Ive seen them and respect they are good shows and at least have good acting. I say nothing about them cos i respect they good shows in their own right. IT crowd is pure degradation of british garbage and embarrassing compared to inbetweeners and only fools. Sorry but true

dale m

Mate, you are someone that is getting someone from US to watch IT crowd i cant take you seriously at all. You are a pleb

dale m

Can I suggest bottom or young ones

Matthew Hunt

If you want a British heartwarming movie then Goodnight Mr Tom is a must watch with queen boomer

connor

I thought I was alone. Royal Flush has some of my favourite lines of all time.

Steve Read

KB still hasn't picked up on the Rodney's alternative name gag

Jehan Ariyaratnam

The Green Green Grass spin off of OFAH same actors that play Boycie and Marlene star in it you should react to that too King Boomer 👍👍

Luke Fisher

The original Get Carter is AMAZING

Kiwi Tau

The joke is referring to the slang term meaning low quality or not legitimate. For example in To Hull and Back, Del calls the fake money "Mickey Mouse Money." King Boomer even mentioned people use it in the US. My whole family uses it. Boycie says it after Trigger says "I wouldn't trust you to make a Jelly," so they are saying he so illegitimate that he doesn't even reach the standards of a bad film maker. If fake money is Mickey Mouse money, then Rodney Trotter money would be fake money drawn using crayons.

UltiNega

Cold mountain, set during the civil war.

John

"Mr Boyce, prawn balls..."

Jehan Ariyaratnam

I love Boycie's "Mickey take" of Rodney, "I heard Mickey Mouse wears a Rodney Trotter wristwatch". I had a Mickey Mouse watch when I was younger, my dad brought it back from a work trip to America. Definitely a joke of it's time though. Important episode for building Boycie's character.

Adi Hughes

I think most people will say only fools and horses best season was 6 and I'd agree, but this episode is my absolute favourite 👍

Kristopher Barton

Neither it’s rhinos 🦏

Chay Davenport

Please also watch the mask lol Jim Carey at his funniest

Chay Davenport

Lost in translation please I’ve watched it so many times and it’s about a beautiful relationship of friends lost in Japan it’ll bring a tear to anyone’s eye, if it doesn’t you have got a soul love you and good luck with the baby x

Chay Davenport

I’m one of you’re male watchers and I’d love you and queeny to watch sleepless in Seattle epic film or lost in translation both beautiful films.

Chay Davenport

Loved the ‘royal flush’ episode. One of my favourites

Ian ‘Flinty’ Flintham

Try the film Master and Commander with Russell Crowe that is not a gangsta film.

David Marriott-Hallam

Wouldn't that be a tragedy. I'm sure the community would sorely miss your sunny disposition and witty banter.

Manly Stump

The next episode is quite good, then we have a very different Xmas special in "A royal Flush", which John Sullivan admits he completely got the vibe wrong in, then "A frogs legacy" is a classic Xmas special and "dates" has to be in the top 5 episodes of the whole show I reckon. So lots to look forward to

Jehan Ariyaratnam

well congrats. you ppl finally persuaded him to do a shit show. If i see too much IT crowd im im unsubbing thanks to ppl like you

dale m

Would you ever do a full reaction to a stand up comedian like Lee Evans for example. I think you would love a full show.

Andrew Bojas

Not sure if I should feel old or bad for local education funding but I learned to type at school on a typewriter just like that and it was the mid nineties.

Chris C

Oh I didn’t know that bit, presumably to sound more authoritative to their flock?

Chug

They took pretty much 2 years off after the next episode and you can tell by the writing, the quality goes up so much.

Chris C

can't go wrong with the I.t crowd 👍 same writers as father ted

bdazzer85

The next episode was supposed to be the last ever but luckily David Jason agreed to stay on as Del Boy. Season 6 is my favourite season

Aaron Close

Agreed 👍

Martin N

I don't agree, long felt a fun episode.

Robert Ryan

Yes, a lot of vicars used to cultivate this accent on purpose, it was considered to be part of their 'uniform' so to speak.

ALW

Dates one of my favourite episodes

JambonWAFC1988

The size of that video camera haha Now they can almost fit in your pocket these camcorders

Graham Goldberg

Season 6 is a turning point for me. Everything before is great, but this is where some of the most iconic episodes drop in. I think there's one more of Season 5 then the specials mentioned above which are all excellent.

Chris Silverthorne

The Vicar’s accent is a sort of exaggerated-for-TV version of the old URP accent, you got it right first time with “proper” You can hear it in some of the older recordings of Royals etc (“off” becomes “orrrff” etc) but almost unheard of today, even in those circles

Chug

The plural of rhinoceros is either the singular rhinoceros (like sheep) or more uncommon but still used rhinoceroses

Geraint Harrison

There’s a thought for a more emotional movie. Have you ever seen the movie Lassie 2005. More emotional movie about a dog trying to find his way home to his family. Very good movie for you and Queen Boomer. It’s also got the actor Peter Dinklage from Game of Thrones :)

Ryan Mitchell

Withnail is a cult british dark comedy. Richard E Grant's first and best film.

Alan

Your right it’s like octopus it’s octopi not octopuses

Mark Parker

Quick heads up KB, after next episode (Who wants to be a millionaire) there are 3 specials between this series, (series 5) and the start of series 6. They are, in order: - A Royal Flush - The Frogs Legacy - Dates

AWR93

IT Crowd!! Yeah, boi!!!!!!!!!

Manly Stump

A lot of people consider this one a fairly weak episode, and they aren't totally wrong; though it has bits I appreciate, I love the running gag about the rhino.
