Peep Show S7 Ep6 "New Years Eve" REACTION!

Johnson!

Peep Show S7 Ep6 "New Years Eve" REACTION!

Comments

Sophie being ok about her baby being asleep on the floor in the coat room of a party never fails to annoy me.

Richard M

The way Johnson delivers that “What? Fuck you” always kills me 😂

J W

Just because you seen one fancy dress party on new year, doesn’t mean the whole country is doing the same thing 😂

Ricky

A fancy dress party can be at any time of the year. Its not strictly for haloween. Neither is it "the norm" for new years.

Matt Rumsey

generally

Tris Outlaw

Not necessarily .

John

I think comedy shows are better in England but dramas are better in the US

Tris Outlaw

I always assumed it was a scat party.

Squanchy

Just wait until you watch IT Crowd.

Squanchy

Look, I've been around a bit, and I've never seen a fancy dress party for NYE. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen though I guess! I hate NYE now. I'm way past all that horseshit. This episode just reminded me why - there was always some sort of drama that ruined the night for me. So I just stopped doing it. And distanced myself from the people that made it a drama. Excellent reaction KB - as always - take care.

Phil Robinson

Yes, that is his name....?

theOraclelives

His Vince Russo rants are hilarious

Oliver

I’ve seen every episode of Peep Show so much that I sometimes forget just how funny it is. Seeing you react for the first time is great 😂

Michael May

We don’t dress up for new years .. this just happens to be a fancy dress party lol

Michael May

Yes 👍

Rob webber

It never ceases to amaze me that the mastermind behind Peep Show is also the one behind Succession

Sam

I forgot about Hans hitting Jez with the wood :D It seems he is used to using wood as a weapon, wherever he got it from. CRACK.

LyingSecret

"What, was he asking Harley Race for a job whilst the ring that he set on fire himself, WAS STILL ON FIRE in the background?" :D That video is hilarious.

LyingSecret

Traditionally, Halloween is for dressing up specifically as scary/spooky things, but any occasion can be 'fancy dress' where you dress up in costumes, sometimes themed, sometimes random. The lines are blurred though because to my dissaproval a lot of people adopt the US custpm of wearing non horror related costumes on Halloween these days 👀👀

Rach

I think the point of the room at superhans' is that it's the worst thing you can imagine and that is why they don't show it.

theOraclelives

Jim cornett t-shirt👍. Do you listen to his podcasts? Was just listening to his hulk hogan's ballshit stories one, fucking great🤣. Definitely a Peepshow great this episode, Only 1 season of Peepshow to go, I know there's 2 but I don't class 9 as a series, its so desperate story wise and not the best. Johnson the only black bond I would accept 👍,he actually does cameo, you should order one of him for your channel.

Phoenix

Christopher Hitchens is quite known in America: sort of the literary equivalent of Richard Dawkins, impressive that he knew of the brother though

R Lawrence

Super Hans :P

Kevin Liversage

Agreed, the only problem with Fawlty Towers is that there isn't a season 3

Raul

And her and Jeff didn't get back together (I don't think)..he did fill in as godfather though when Mark failed to get to christening.

R Lawrence

You missed where he said why's Johnson have to have a fancy dress party for new years eve

R Lawrence

You should react to "back" after which is like a middle aged peep show with David Mitchell & Robert Webb

Aaron Close

I wouldn't argue with that. Modern shows at least. Fawlty Towers is the GOAT.

Dean Carter

I love this episode. So funny 😂

Aaron Close

For me, this is the second best British show, just after the Inbetweeners.

Raul

If you could peep an eye around the door at that party that super hands couldn't handle... what do you see?..... 😄😈🐑🐐👯‍♀️

Daz

Also discovered Plebs here. It's really good.

Steve Read

How do you know who the Hitchens are?

Billy Rockets

I knew that space bar wouldn't last long.

Billy Rockets

definitely one of the most iconic episodes looking back

Joe

I absolutely love rewatching these with your reactions, it's like seeing them through fresh eyes again. This episode is one of my favourites. And well done for at least trying to spread the word about UK comedy... although I think for a lot of non-Brits it can be an acquired taste.

James Aston

Where's Man down in the list? Should go above plebs!

Ola Hammarström

Nine series, so you're only 12 episodes from the end.

Joshua

My tradition is to put my pjs on on NYE and pretend it’s not NYE 😭. I wish they didn’t do this to Dobby it’s the one thing in PS i didn’t like 🙈. I’ve a feeling QB would agree if she was watching lol . Plus Sophie is a dick leaving Ian on his own 😡. Rants over 😉

Erica

I know, I know... BUT it was produced by a British company for a British TV channel so I feel like we can claim some ownership over it at least. But yeah, obviously at its core it's Irish.

Domlaaa

You’ll likely get some heat for calling father Ted British . 😆

Erica

Your top 5 are solid. Father Ted, Inbetweeners, Peep Show and OFAH are certified British classics. Plebs is slept on - I hadn't watched it until seeing it here and I am loving it too. The temptation to watch ahead is so strong but I'm loving watching it with you guys.

Domlaaa

What was going on at Super Hans' NYE party is one of the greatest mysteries of the 21st century.

Domlaaa

Completely agree...Alan Johnson is one of the best characters I've seen on a comedic show, British or otherwise. :)

Sam Hasanain

People don't usually dress up for New Year's in England, but any event might become a 'fancy dress' (dress-up/costume) party if the hosts plan it that way, especially something like a 60s theme, or dressing like singers. Birthday's random house parties - Brits love it, and the outfits certainly can get creative.

Kieran

more peepity peepity peep!!!
