2023-10-18 23:21:28 +0000 UTCThere's a guy called Levinson Wood who does shows where he does really long walks, and he goes through some really dangerous areas, but he does it because he's interested in the people, the culture, the flora/fauna and the history, he makes really fascinating shows which I think you'd love, he's walked the length of the Nile, Himalayas including Afghanistan, Central America including the Darien Gap, the Middle East and Caucasus Mountains, and another season where he walks with Orangutans, Lions and Polar Bears, he's an ex army officer and professional explorer, I love all his shows as his approach is very anthropological too.

2023-10-18 13:31:19 +0000 UTCKing Boomer, you really should watch Lawrence of Arabia. One of the greatest movies ever made. It's the movie that Spielberg watches for inspiration before every movie he directs. Just be warned that it's almost 4 hours long though, but worth every moment.
