Benidorm S3 Ep6 "New Business" REACTION!

Comments

the first time i saw that electrocution i died laughing

Alex James

To be fair I can see why you’d be uncomfortable with Geoff and Telle getting together, I think there was like 17 years between them, that is strange

Rebecca Bailey

My first car was a 2006 ford fiesta

Daniel Simpkins

Are you some sort of imbecile? You don't have to get affirmation from me, you'll know when I'm joking. You have a problem with patriotism clearly, I don't and neither does KB. Don't start giving me grief trying to look good here. Carry on with whatever it is you Leftie nonces do.

Rob Walters

@Rob Walters - Are you taking the piss? Seriously? It really wouldn't. You are proud because you happened to be born in a particular country, as if you had a choice in the matter? We are never going to move forward as a species if we continue this pointless tribalism and arbitrary lines someone drew on a map.

Phil Robinson

Make sure you react to the Christmas special episode before series 4

ConnorPlaysHD

Keith Barron was a much loved and gifted English actor. He sadly died in November 2017.

Lord Charfield

There is when you exclude Scotland from that term, using British just to describe an Englishman, effectively just erasing England for no reason at all. If the Jock had been called 'British' and the Englishman as English this comments section would be miles long with Scottish patreons complaining and you know it. Don't tell me that I should shut up and not object to my homeland being ignored. ENGLISH AND PROUDER

Rob Walters

As someone born in England with a Scottish father, Welsh mother and Irish Grandparents who comes from a military family (blackwatch Scottish regiment) who served in the BRITISH Armed forces there's absolutely nothing wrong with the word brit. BRITISH and proud.

Sam Vimes

If Wink McAndrew is played by a Scot, then the Deputy Mayor is played by an Englishman, not a Brit as you claimed. MacAndrew wasn't described with that made-up word, 'Brit'. You gave Scotland the respect so please do the same for England. Sorry but that's a right gripe of mine. Keith Baron is English.

Rob Walters

Ford has one of the most advanced factories in Europe in Valencia about an hour or so from Benidorm.

Jason Bonner

Also, yes, we've had "Ford" cars here for many decades. I don't know if it really has much connection to the original Ford company in the US, but the name is synonymous with cars here for those of us here that are over 40. We probably had different names here for some models. Most popular were Escort, Sierra, Fiesta (for the wimps), Cortina, Capri (for the posers), and most delightfully - the Ford Sierra Cosworth - much adored by boy-racers of the time. I almost died in one. Later, we had boring ones like the Mondeo, you know for the salesmen whipping up and down the M40 thinking they're the bees knees, but actually they're twats. In the end though, it would seem that those with the cash (or daft enough to do it on credit) would rather spend their cash on the German makes - BMW, Audi, and to a lesser extent Volkswagen. Fiat, the Italian manufacturer, not hearing much about that any more, but then there is the Asian manufacturers, like Hyundai, Honda, etc. I know fuck all about cars, but this is my input. Hope you enjoy.

Phil Robinson

The whole Madge as Pope thing, riding along in the quasi Popemobile Ford truck thing is utterly hilarious. And if you're not sure whether the "Popemobile" was a thing, look it up, John Paul II sauntered around in it often. Allegedly bulletproof. Must have been uncomfortable though, unless it had aircon.

Phil Robinson

Actually, yes, that's true. I love Kenneth! Just to clarify, I didn't mean KB should stop here, just from creator Derren Litten's point of view. This season ended on somewhat of a high. But ratings were very good at this point - the public loved it, so it continued. I'll be interested to see KB's reactions going forward of course!

Phil Robinson

We can’t end the show here don’t be daft. He hasn’t even been introduced to Keneth !!!

Rhys

Loving the Benidorm reactions

Michael Williams

It might have been a nice point to end the show here - most of the characters end up in a good place. Troy and Gavin get to have an accepting son in their lives, Mick and Janice get to run Mel's 5 tanning shops in the Greater Manchester region, Mel and Madge get to run a successful entertainment venue in Benidorm - there's a hint at a possible new life for Martin, and as for Donald and Jacqueline, well they're always happy. And then there's Geoff and Chantelle. I know the age difference between Geoff and Chantelle (perfectly legal) might seem odd, but given Geoff is somewhat of a man child, Chantelle is actually good for him. It's not always about age as a number with these things. Some young people (early 20s) are mature beyond their age, and some older people are immature. They can meet in the middle sometimes. I have friends that are in relationships that have some wild age differences, but their relationships are among the strongest I know. Yet, a high percentage of friends who were close in age with their partners, most of them ended in disaster. Best to keep an open mind with these things sometimes.

Phil Robinson

This is why I love the swinger couple. Despite being in an inclusive hotel with free alcohol, he still went and got the champagne for his friends.

Squanchy

He reminds me of a guy I used to work with

John smith

Peep show tonight ? 😃 or red dwarf Fawlty towers, only fools. Hope you upload these soon boomer 🙏

Dale M

call me dumb king but im pretty sure that his "son" isnt is son but actually his secret lover

Isaac Steele

I'm really not a car guy, but I believe that we have a mix of cars here. British, German, US Chinese made cars, etc. Vast majority of the most popular brands are German (Volkswagen, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc)

ThetaSigmaTheOriginal

I can concur that Ford is a very popular car brand in the UK, and all 5 cars I've owned over the years have all been Ford. I currently drive a Mustang which is probably the most American associated of them all and they have only become popular here in recent years. Anyway, keep up the great content and hope things are well with the family.

Stephen Webb

Yeah Fords are very popular, probably one the most popular brands. Tesla also now popular in electric car market. Not many other American brands here, but you do see the odd one.

muu041

the special is great, cant wait :)

Skye Blandford

Make sure you watch the Xmas special, as the start to series 4 can be quite confusing if you skip it.

Michael May

The next episode is the last one I usually watch, I feel like the overall quality of the show drops off massively. I found some of the new characters really irritating and even by Benidorm standards some of the storylines started getting a bit ridiculous.

Chris H

No, it was Keith Barron, he was also in Duty Free, an old comedy set in Spain

Little Jimmy

Was that Roy Walker the Mayor?

Amanda

The next series takes a dive in quality with some quite annoying characters, but it does recover in series 5.

Tom

I love this episode. I lost my Mum back in 2019 and hardly a day goes by that I don't weep for her. I know that not everyone is close to their parents, but I was, and although 'Benidorm' is fiction, I wanted to shake Geoff (J Vegas) and say, c'mon man, show some love and respect for your Mum, you won't have her forever.

Si Cr

There’s a Christmas special next! Loved this series

James Young

We still have allot of fords over here, but not nearly as many as there used to be

ezza

The actor who plays Mateo has a London accent. Not a hint of Spanish 💃🏻.He’s also easy on the eye and according to my mum is a dancer in an Annie Lennox video so I am off to watch that now 😂. All the best to QB and PB ❤️p.s yes my dad has been driving Ford mondeos for bloody years
