In Bruges (2008) MOVIE REACTION!

One of the wildest films I've ever seen!

In Bruges (2008) MOVIE REACTION!

Comments

In bruges, for me, gets better with every re-watch. Makes me think a lot. Also weirdly my Christmas movie actually lol. I watch it yearly that time.

Yeshi

I think watching it a second time is really good because you pick up all of the links. When he shoots Ray and he stumbles onto the movie set he has stumbled into his own judgement day like the painting.

Lauren Massey

Colin Farrell's character is the only person in the world who doesn't think Bruges is pretty

Joe Blakeley

That is what you took from this movie? Nothing to do with the idea of honour, principle, justice, fate, right vs wrong, self-sacrifice or damnation and the possibility of redemption? Dig a little deeper man.

Michael K

An excellent anti American film, with an important message about the futility of their gun culture.

Dave Roberts

Upgraded my tier just to watch this when I found out it was on here - fantastic stuff. Only 15 mins in so far - and you're right, the American tourists (at least the man) definitely sounded like he had a fake accent!

David Kelly

Actually exec produced by Martin McDonagh, and written and directed by his brother John.

Relyx

The movie is decent, but very overhyped and overrated

Ricky

I have a friend who didn't appreciate movies. he basically though marvel was the be all and end all of movies. so I started to introduce him to a range of genres. I created a list of about 50 that he had to see. when I showed him this one he was stunned at the end like you were. he watched it again the next day as he couldn't get it out of his head

Matthew Kaye

I've never seen this before but it was bloody tops! (....That's not how Dum-Dum bullets work at the end)

Daniel Heywood

The Fat Americans (Or as we say, Americans) could have been on a Euro Cruise.

Daniel Heywood

The director Martin McDonagh was In Bruges no pun intended lol he found it a beautiful place but quite boring hints the location for the movie

Ethan Holgate

Now that is a reaction - I loved watching along. cheers KB

Malc T

You should check out The Banshees of Inisherin. Same director as well as Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell again.

ART

Could be...but it was so slow it was shocking lol. I'm suggesting Dog soldiers for Halloween.

Sam Vimes

This movie really made me a fan of Colin Farrel. I love the way he makes this character such a strangely unreadable ticking timebomb. Banshees of Inashirin is another great film with both him and gleeson. Another very unusual film well worth the watch, even if just because it's so unique and well made.

SynphamyMusic

I think you would be surprised about the amount of American tourists in Bruges (particularly in the summer months). The only time I can imagine you might have heard of it before is in the Austin Powers films (Dr Evil was from Bruges)!

ZedMC

R.I.P Jake Abraham of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and also alternate lister in Red Dwarf

Daryl Hudson

Such a good film, dark humour done to perfection. Epic without the big frills. Great reaction

Reece Brown

It's an amazing film, deffo KB should react to that.

Martin Nercessian

You probably get this, but the reason Fiennes killed himself was because he thought the dwarf was a kid because he was wearing that school uniform the film he was shooting

James Liosi

Theres a 2011 Brendan Gleeson film called 'The Guard' which is quite a fun watch. About an FBI agent coming to ireland to work on a case.

Raul

The General is also a brilliant Brendan Gleeson movie. Well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

Jay

Great reaction as always - one of my favourites. If you haven't seen them The Guard and Calvary are good watches - again star Brenden Gleeson.

muu041

I think you're pretty much in the minority with that opinion Sam.

Jay

Sam Vimes

cockney accent by Fiennes

Alex

The second time watching this film is great, I think. You get to see all the foreshadowing, particularly with Harry - his principles about how if he killed a kid he'd put a gun in his mouth on the spot, and how he says to Ken "I'm suicidal, you're suicidal" and within the next half hour, they've both committed suicide. But nothing compares to the first time watching it. It's an absolutely amazing experience. This and Dead Man's Shoes are two of my favourite films ever, been fun watching the reaction to both.

Patrick Coyle

My favorite Ralph Fiennes movie has got to be Shindler's list. His accent is cockney in this film.

Amanda

The foreshadowing in this film is done really well. I've seen it 3/4 times now and I still pick up on new things.

Jon

bout bloody time Muppet of Muppetdom

Craig McCulloch

Honestly it's such a good film. Drama and comedy matched in the perfect way.

electricduckpond

Excellent movie, I've seen it 4-5 times now and I still love it so I'm sure you will on your rewatch

Jason Rusby

Love this film. It has the same comedy and feel as The Death of Stalin in so many ways, I truly think you’ll love it just as much!

YaDadsDyek

americans go on holiday everywhere so i don't see that as unrealistic. great reaction as always :)

Kasper Bruun Kristensen

I love Bruges! I went there for my summer holiday this year and did a mini sightseeing trip based on locations in this film (which is one of my favourites). I love Ralph Fiennes and his character makes the movie for me!

ZedMC

You're a inanimate fucking object 😂

Phoenix

Bruges is a beautiful place. One my favs in Europe. Love this movie. Classic!
