Interestingly the chef Terry calls Manuel "wog mother boy something", but then Major also calls Indians wogs too so not really sure how the term was used in the uk back then.

2023-06-13 17:49:11 +0000 UTCI think dagos a racial slur for people of Mediterranean background in the uk and rest of commonwealth - Italian Spanish Portuguese Greek decent etc. In Australia theyre referred to wogs which is still considered racist but I think ppl of that background have taken ownership of the word and use it proudly. The chef refers to Manuel as a wog in one of the later episodes so guessing it was used in the uk back then too
