Red Dwarf S2 Ep4 "Stasis Leak" REACTION!

Too many Listers and not enough Rimmers

Red Dwarf S2 Ep4 "Stasis Leak" REACTION!

😂 ♥

Tbh I think the plotline for this messes up because they interfere with time and dimensions a lot during the next 5 seasons

Dale M

IMO: Much like Star Trek TNG 3,4,5 are where it all really clicks. 2 and 6 are very close behind them, 1 and 7 are OK and serve their purposes well enough, and the rest might as well not exist.

Kevin Tipcorn

Personally, I think the 'really good' Red Dwarf ended with season six, when Rob Grant, one of the two writers and creators left. Doug Naylor still does an ok job with season 7 onwards, and he's good at sci fi plotlines, but the episodes are just not as funny as the ones in seasons 1 - 6. I would recommend watching seasons 7 and 8 because they are still pretty good, but the best seasons are definitely the ones prior. In my opinion.

Dean Carter

That plotline isn't followed up in later seasons.

Dean Carter

apart from about 3 or 4 episodes of season 7 the lot is top notch !!!!!

Paul Bibby

Lol 🤣 if there was to much of Rimmer's this would have been a totally different kind of show 🧐

Amanda

I haven't hooked up KB with 3-6 yet but got them loaded and waiting , easily my favourites

Craig McCulloch

Funny episode

Tim Salt (Tim Salt Writes)

1-6 are good, then there is a gap in quality then 10 is good, not watched any after that. Season 5 is peak awesomeness.

Martin Nercessian

I should probably go and watch the later seasons again to be honest, give it another chance as it's been a while. I'm just looking forward to seeing KB watch through series 3 - 6 😁

David Williams

I prefer series 10 to 7 and 8 myself.

I've never been the biggest fan of RD (it's alright but not my favourite) but I love the intro/outro song. At first the intro it is a version which is made to sound like what you are going to watch is a show of epic space exploration but then the rug is pulled out from under you what you've watch is summed up by the outro being the same music but in campy goofy fun tone. Sort of like what the characters expected from joining RD

Matt

Daryl has mentioned above the exact amount of series etc...but personally I only really enjoy series 1 - 8. There was a large number of years between 8 and 9 and unfortunately it never had the same feel to it. Series 8 is hit and miss but definitely still worthwhile.

David Williams

12 seasons in which season 9 is actually a special 3 part season called back to earth and then in 2020 they made an hour and half special called the promised land

Daryl Hudson

this was always my fav episode from series 2

Markos

There could be more punch, but it was still a fairly minor show on the publicly funded BBC2, so budgets were still stretched.
