Yup and that's why it's my fave Farther Ted episode :D. Love it. Ironic people where moaning about what Queen Boomer was wearing and these gals where going full birthday suit. Wait until they see this epsiode. And Speed would be a good reaction it goes on a bit but something to pass the time away. Have fun on your trip guys.

I just switched to honey in tea instead of sugar queen boomer and now I'm used to it it's nicer and you don't need much to make it sweet. Don't know about the Yorkshire tea thing, I think it's stronger I've heard per the tea bag. Noone will have gone to this much trouble but we have to because of allergies to things like bleached tea bags etc. The ultimate tea we have found is clipper organic tea bags made with boiled mineral water using a tea pot to brew it up. A lot of effort but its worth it. Add a bit of milk and honey as you want!

That's great! I actually get my milk delivered by the local farmer. 2 bottles every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7am on a milk float just like this. When I'm done I leave the bottles outside my house for them to collect.

I was actually a milk boy, when I was a kid (and a paperboy), in the early 90s. I don't believe they're still around anymore. Although I did hear a rumour that they regained some popularity during the pandemic. Not sure if it's still around now though. As a milkboy, I'd hang on the back of the milk float (just like the one in this episode), and me and a couple of other lads, would jog from house to house, leaving bottles, and collecting empty ones, from doorstep. It was super early hours though. A 4.00 am start. And then, I'd do my paper round, and have a full day of school. I don't have the energy to do that anymore, lol

They only made three seasons coz they said that after three seasons they would be just repeating the same jokes you see it with fawlty towers too. They still deliver milk to your doorstep but i can remember when they used to deliver the glass bottles in the 80s and you left the empties on the doorstep to be collected. that was proper milk not like the piss they're bangin out today

For context with the old style milk floats, they really could only go about 4mph. They would go out to do their deliveries at about 3am so people would have milk for breakfast waiting on their doorstep. So as not to wake people up when driving around residential areas, they had a quiet electric engine. But for the batteries to have enough range the speed had to be limited

Brits use honey in tea, just like any other sweetener, in fact not many use granulated white sugar any more because so many people are diabetic these days, and granulated white sugar is very bad for your health, so a lot of people use sweeteners like Stravia instead these days anyway. I prefer mine with no sweeteners and I'd actually say the majority of Brits use no sweeteners these days, when I have a house full of people which happens often as I have a large family there's normally only a couple who take sugar, the majority have it straight up. Yorkshire Tea is good for bog standard everyday tea, as is Typhoo and PG Tips, brands like Twinnings make some really great teas too, like English breakfast tea which is also very popular. When you hear people whinging saying honey isn't traditional, they're just being muppets, ignore them.

Speed is a kind of 90s goofy that makes a fun rewatch. Its was an OK movie for its time, I think the age has added to its charm.

Another great reaction, love seeing you watch these, one of my all time fav shows 👏👏Every ep in S3 is a classic. There are 8 eps in total, but it may be best to watch episode 5 and 6 back-to-back as the stories are linked. Also, once you have finished the show, there is a one hour documentary (which I think is still on YouTube) filmed about 10 years ago which included interviews with most of the actors and writers. You may be surprised at how Frank Kelly (Jack) sounds 😂
