Only Fools and Horses S2 Christmas Special REACTION!

A Sad Episode but a good one to react to.

Only Fools and Horses S2 Christmas Special REACTION!

Beautiful episode that one.

Andy Waller

A Royal Flush is by far the worst. Totally out of character that one. I don't even watch it now. When I re watch all the episodes.

Andy Waller

This show gets better and better. It's my favourite of all time and always wins best ever British sitcom. You're in for an emotional ride. Also don't always skip the ending because there is some episodes that have a bit at the end but I don't want to give it away so won't say which ones they are.

Andy Waller

This was a sad episode also a reflection on that thier are lonely people during the Christmas season.... With the writer of Only Fools and Horse's didn't just want complete comedy he mixed it up with some real life where the audience can relate and I think that's the reason why it's become a success over the years.

Amanda

FYI King Boomer - the bloke who played Brian the tall babysitter also played the heart surgeon in the Carnival episode of Bottom, the bloke who Richie kept pushing headfirst into the patient's bloody wound! Remember his face full of blood hehehhe

Andy Farmer

From season 3 the show goes up another level, with more characters etc, due to the popularity of the show at the time. This episode wasn't one I particularly liked very much but you put up with it because you know, the bad episodes are very far and few in between.

Charlie Costa

One of the worst episodes imo it doesn't seem like a OFAH episode

Luke B77

Exactly that. It's very irritating. I sub to reactors because I want to relive that first moment again via someone else. So does everybody that's subbed. If you take that surprise element away you're making it worse for yourself and everyone else.

Steve Read

Can't agree with this more. I hate that people overhype classic comedy moments to the point that they destroy the element of surprise, especially when clips are shown out of context to the actual episode. It's similar to how Game of Thrones readers kept bringing up "The Red Wedding" as a focal point, which pretty much killed the element of surprise to that episode.

Jay

I checked all comments to your OFAH reactions incase it had been mentioned already but apparently not. So....this show just gets better etc, something about sad moments and uplifting moments too. Jokes aside, please don't read too many comments. There's loads that are so close to spoiling future plot or hype it all up so much that it's no longer that funny, as per the chandelier episode. This is the best show on earth. You should enjoy it the way we all did....naturally without any clue what was going to happen next.

Steve Read

It's great that you're going to get to the best of Only Fools and Red Dwarf around the same time. Even though you're enjoying both shows currently, you're going to have a ball with them in the next few weeks. Thanks for sticking in there with the "lesser" episodes, King Boomer.

Jay

Timing wise: bare it in mind that from series 5 onwards the regular episodes become 50/60mins long and some of the specials like To Hull and Back (which have no audience laughter in it) is almost 2 hours long

Sam Dilks

If you found this and No Greater Love emotional, wait till you get to Little Problems a few series on. That will really get the emotions going

Jehan Ariyaratnam

The whole show has these wholesome moments right the way throughout, it’s what makes this show the nations all time favourite

connor

There are many more emotional episodes on this show that will have grown men in tears 😢

AWR93

It's in reference to the "Brixton riots".

Adi Hughes

I just noticed how dark this episode was. And I don't mean the mood. It's like the lighting crew took the week off when they shot this one. It's still a sweet episode though.

ThetaSigmaTheOriginal

Del refers to Brixton as "Rourke's Drift"- the site of a battle between the British Empire troops and the Zulu Nation. Why?

Ewan

There is sadder to come

Dave Bond

OFAH just gets better from here! It is perfect at mixing sad moments with comedy and has plenty more to come. Make sure to check for specials in between series as I know of other 'reactors' that have missed episodes.

Jon

A bit sad, but this is nothing compared to some moments later on. Please keep at it, series 3, 4 and 5 steps it up a notch and then after that it goes to another level ending up being one of the greatest (in my opinion the greatest) British sitcoms of all time.

Jehan Ariyaratnam

del is short for derek KB

Daryl Hudson

Any Karl Pilkington, Father Ted or Benidorm coming up?
