I say Mard arse, not Mardy. (live up north)

British born and bread, brought up with 'Mardy arse. A very well know Lancashire / Liverpool / Manchester / Leeds / Yorkshire / Northern saying. Maybe your experiences was from down south? I find a lot of Souther/Eastern American terms are very Northern England related in how they are spoken .... Probably an old crossover from the colonies where the Northern English settled?.

By best friend, even now when we're ancient would often ask 'would you ride that ?' or even 'Would you ?'. When I was about about 15 we had a wanking competition. twat....is a general word...used in everyday use instead of using the word 'fuck'...not 'twot'...as in what Americans say... 'melt' is a word created by scousers pertaining to an idiot or someone who has had far too many bangs on the side of the head, and needs to give that head a wobble...... kind of a polite word for being a stupid fucking useless cunt. I'm just giving words that I use...countless other words around..countless.
