Chad Connors had been one of the world's foremost travel writers, selling millions of books about his adventures among hidden locales, faroff wonders and strange subcultures. But when he decided to embed himself in the secretive world of the Amazons, everything changed. He spent two years living in the totally isolated nation, learning their ways and writing of his adventures.
Then, he came back to New York with a manuscript and several surprises.
First off, his new name was Claire Connors and it wouldn't be for much longer. Soon it would be Queen-Consort Claire Hydria.
Second, this would be his last book. He was retiring to become the demure, subservient wife that Queen Hydria wanted.
Lastly, there were secrets in the book that outdid every rumor and legend about Amazonia. The whole thing about not having any men was a lie, and half of the population was actually made up of feminized males. Their methods far outstripped what modern medicine could do, which explained how Chad ended up like this.
Here he was during his last tv appearance, promoting his last book, before returning to his new home.
