Heh, you right; the appeal in the original Crash designs is *hard* to find. Also I hope that Lion King remake shook the last bit of novelty dust off that hyper-realism trend with cartoon characters. I never offended someone with my drawings, but I do think that's a fascinating experience. I wonder if you're on to something, about the ability to create having an impact on those who cannot. Coco came out very nice! I do like what you've been doing with the mysterious hand interacting with the subject - gives a faux-interaction with the viewer, something interesting.
