Guess whose computer died?
Added 2025-01-31 02:14:34 +0000 UTCHey gang. So guess whose MacBook from 2018 finally decided it was going to kick it? I am waaaaay out on the eastern tip of Long Island house-sitting for my cousin and my computer that had been giving me trouble decided to not start up. Luckily, there was an Apple repair place one town over that managed get it running long enough for me to at least transfer the data off of it. Also, my partner had been planning to buy me a new laptop as a surprise so, when this one died, he stepped up the timing on that and had it overnight delivered here. He’s a prince. So I’m currently waiting for the data to finish transferring and then I’ll finish that drawing I teased two days ago. Stay tuned!

2025-01-31 04:02:02 +0000 UTCOh I do cloud-based backup. But the system I use has to send you a hard drive of your data, which was going to take a week. My old MacBook had an overheating issue and they managed to at least get it to start up again so I could transfer sooner.
