The burly lumberjack walked from his tractor to the first tree marked for cutting. On his way into the deeper woods he tripped over a protruding root and dropped his axe. He righted himself and was adjusting his overalls when he suddenly felt his arms violently grabbed from behind and spread apart. Long, leafy branches had wound around his biceps, holding his arms wide open and helpless. "W-what's going on?!" he cried in fear. To his horror, more bark-covered arms with long fingers began to approach him from the underbrush. He heard a menacing giggle from behind him. He could just barely make out a face on the tree that had grabbed him. The tree had a FACE. Before the man could get out another word, the long fingers of the branch-like hands began to scratch and poke at his belly and underarms. It...tickled! He began to laugh despite his fear. "NO! Not THAT!" he cried. Now he heard a voice come from the tree behind him. "You're not cutting down any of us today. In fact, we're going to tickle you until you PROMISE to never come back here again". The man tried to promise but so many of the woody hands had descended on his body that all he could get out was helpless, panicked laughter...
